+4 star hero That's considered "old school" or a "Townie" type Boston accent, which I also naturally adopted in neighboring Cambridge ("Pahhk the cahh neeuh Hahhvud"). But, with gentrification of much of Boston's neighborhoods nowadays, not nearly as many locals speak with the famous Boston accent, which I find sad, because I think it takes away the character(s) that has helped make Boston famous. Though if you go to places like South Boston (where Whitey Bulger is from), you can still easily find that authentic Boston accent.

I am shocked and disappointed that somebody didn't kill Whitey. How many of you people reading this would allow him to fuck up your life, or threaten you or your family, and just take it? I mean, a decent hunting rifle with a scope would have easily done the job from far enough away that not only would you have done the job, but I doubt his pals or law enforcement would have cared enough to make too much of an effort to find you.

I know a little bit about Whitey and his pals, in fact most likely some things you don't know, just like I'm sure you know a bunch of stuff I could never know, as I didn't live in Winter Hill. What's more to the point, however, is my original point. If JFK, Malcolm X, and MLK could get assassinated in my lifetime, there is no way Whitey couldn't by exactly the way I described.
