Chris Packham on the importance of RSPB Arne and why you should visit

We’ve all been enjoying #Springwatch 2024 from RSPB Arne in Dorset.
Chris Packham says: “I would strongly advocate that if you have the time and an interest in natural history you make your way to Arne.”
“Watching wildlife on TV is a great way of instigating an interest. To truly satisfy it you’ve got to come here and see it and feel it and smell it for yourself.”
“Unless people come and enjoy it in the way that we do and I have all of my life, then when it comes to the crunch we won’t have the love as a fuel to protect nature and that’s implicitly important.”
