I was at this show, I agree, I’ve seen Megadeth many times, but they never play the songs I wanna hear, my favorite albums is the first two, Gar Samuelson is just so incredible, the best Megadeth lineup was the first one. I wish Megadeth played the first two albums songs.. the show was incredible I can’t wait until they come to la again

The solo at the end of Devils Island is my favorite Chris solo. Peace Sells But Whos Buying is one of the best metal albums of all time imo.

Probably my favorite guitarist ever. Very hard to emulate. I really like “Club Ded” off his solo album. And of course all his leads on “Peace Sells” and “The System Has Failed.”

Chris is a world class talent that easily transcends being a metal player. Personally I find him to be in the league of the all time greats like Holdsworth or McLaughlin. Truly an exceptional musician…

They were young and stupid and they were junkies. I've known junkies, there's a couple in my family, they would steal anything from anyone for a fix. One of them is clean now and she's a great person, I'm not going to hold anything against Chris for something he did decades ago when he was under the influence.
