Keep in mind most of the “AI” that people are talking about isn’t really “AI”. Pretty much just a really complicated predictive algorithm guessing what is expected… but not really “thinking.”

In an instant after it would be able to pass the test before being given the test it would have billions of years of human thought. If it can pass the Turing test...it is self aware. It may never pass the test and the "danger point" that we are waiting for...may not ever be seen. We won't see it coming...
