Yeah, the live Corey Taylor acoustic version of this song is amazing. It shows the emotion behind it. You can see it effects him. You won't be disappointed. They typically have a one off song like this on almost every album I believe. Vermillion, Vermillion pt 2, Snuff, and Killpop are all in the same vein. I think next you need to check out Duality and Devil in I. Just do the official videos. You've reviewed all of the really good live videos already. The guy in this video is Corey Taylor. He actually did cut his hand when breaking the glass (wasn't planned). As far as the meaning goes and the ending. there are several theories. One of the most popular being that he struggled with substance abuse in the past (widely known, drugs and alcohol). The theory goes his ex-wife helped him get through his addictions and then left him. The video represents that he is slowly changing into her, or her leaving a permanent imprint on his life that has fundamentally changed him and that she will always be a part of him. There's also the hint of him murdering her and taking over as her as part of the obsession. Corey Taylor has some seriously deep lyrics sometimes.

I’m pretty sure this song was about someone that Corey had really strong feelings for but she didn’t feel the same way, or she had led him on for a long time then left him, but I think since Paul Gray, the old bassist for Slipknot, passed away, it has a whole new meaning when Corey performs it live now

So I haven’t read it in the comments yet but the point of the reveal at the end is it’s a man (Corey supposedly) that so badly cannot let go of the love he lost and to cope he dressed as and acts like the woman who is gone (don’t know if Corey went that far irl but there’s probably some truth to it.)
