A good measure of CB and QB, you can't hide speed and you can't hide bullseyes. Corner speed is king and striping bullseyes is special. Think of a WR as having at least five bullseyes attached to his upper body, can your qb hit all five in the right play, inside, outside shoulders, low and inside, outside, center of numbers? Key aspects of what you're looking for, Mond and Jones can hit them on command.

--- FOOTBALL EXPERTS (WHO KNOW AN NFL CONTACT) --- Why DON'T these players do a top speed test AND a quickness test? As 40 times go, I AM of the belief that other metrics must help us separate quickness and speed. Why have that problem? Rondale Moore's 4.29 doesn't tell me that his quickness is Tyreek Hill like, as opposed to Ezekiel Elliot 4.3 where the top speed comes later. Why not do a 25 yd dash AND a 60 yd run at the combine and scrap the 40, which seems like a notch above hand size, for QB's, as metrics go. It could be VERY HELPFUL.
@smyers90523 жыл бұрын
Like the rankings, but it's not correct to say that there's a guaranteed tenth of a second variance between the pro day and the combine. Further, combine is designed to throw people off their game, so those testing numbers tend to be deflated. Reality is most guys are probably in between on their best day in optimal conditions. I get that this is an average, but for instance, I don't think Surtain is a 4.52 electronic. Maybe 4.48/4.49.
