One thing we need to remember is the Cardinals offense line has been upgraded Paris Johnson is now our left tackle. Through free agency we picked up our right tackle Jonah Williams, you combine a HEALTHY KYLER with weapons like MHJ and Trey McBride I predict we will be a top 10 offense with Kyler having his best year yet!!!! If you were to graph arm strength as a function of height and weight across NFL QBs it might be the case that Kyler Murray gets the most bang for the buck of anyone. That throw he made a couple years ago, running left - he’s a righty - and launching it 55 yards as he was falling out-of-bounds for a touchdown might’ve been the best throw that season. I remember it clearly because it beat “my” Bills. But make no mistake: Kyler can Chuck it.

He’ll be higher than that if he stays healthy trust me he has a number one receiver again and our oline and running game is getting better and better ranked 4th last season in run game with out the threat of Kyler Murray for half the season🤣🤣

Kyler used to run out of the pocket alot and at times was trying to do too much but that was with kliff Kingsbury last year he seemed alot more controlled willing to take a sack instead of running back 10 yards trying to escape it helps that the Cardinals can run it now and the offensive line is improving

Go watch the Philly game again. He stood in the pocket forever and made a great touch throw between defenders with defenders in his face on the final drive. He's got new coaches working on everything with him.

Its not that Kyler cant do it. Its that he has to show that he can consistently do it. First half the season in 2021 he was very good at doing that it just didnt stick.

I had a gripe with can he win tight gritty late games, he has last year was on the road in Pittsburgh and Eagles, When they were 11-5 they were road warriors the team was 7-1 one of those being a cold wet game in Chicago, not to mention he plays in the NFC West.

Simms is right. I’ve never seen Load-to-Release (LTR) numbers - I think that’s Trent Dilfer’s terminology from “Soul and Science” - on Kyler but I’m guessing he’s low 0.3s. Tua I think set a record by, on his average throw, being just over 0.3, for comparison. I think Marino was 0.33 or 0.34 and Rodgers must be in that Tua range. Anyways LTR is defined as something like, “The time between when the QB begins his throwing motion until it leaves his hand.” Kyler is really quick as he has a killer, tight throwing motion.

I know a couple years ago Kyler had the 2nd quickest time getting rid of the ball in the league. That was partly Kliff's offense, partly the offensive line not protecting him and partly how fast he can release it.

Brock Purdy # 17 took SF to the super bowl. Kyler Murray, # 16, doesn't study but can throw the ball a long way. Physical talent doesn't make the QB. Murray has much more physical talent than Tom Brady. Lots of QBs with lots of physical talent never amounted to much.

That's a two year old story. The new coaches love him and say he has done everything they have asked him to. . Kliff and Kyler weren't even talking. GM Keim had a drinking problem and probably came up with the study clause as a negotiating tactic. How in the hell did that even get leaked? It's not in the final contract. Now Kyler is at the facility all day every day. Complete 180.

@@-Thunder Well said. I felt the same way about Kyler when all that BS came out. Plus, you could just see it. I'm going to say it was half Kyler's immaturity and half Keim's drunken incompetence. And also Kliff being a bad coach lol. Last year when Kyler came back, I immediately noticed the maturity. At least, that's what I hope it is. I hope it's not just happiness because Keim and Kliff are gone. But lots of reports are coming out saying everyone is having a blast so far this offseason. Monti has been great, and everyone seems to love JG because we were in damn near every game last year with a terrible team.
