You can tell Samuel Jackson really likes and admires a young upcoming talent like Chris Tucker...he allows him to have the show and do his thing. Generational Respect.

Chris Tucker does his best with the collaboration between himself and Brett Ratner
@A-Dubs3986 жыл бұрын
@@DeANGELIS4735 - How would you know that when we don't see Tucker often in anything else? Cuz he literally only did Brett Ratner movies(Rush Hour, Money Talks) for over a decade, then only did 1 movie like 5 years after that, Silver Lining Playbook. Chris Tucker was great in Dead Presidents, and even Jackie Brown, even it's small part but great. We will never know if he could have had roles better than Rush Hour, cuz he barely does any movies. But Chris Tucker in a bigger role in a Quinten Tarantino movie sounds amazing to me, and I like seeing a darker side of Chris Tucker. I still like Rush Hour, but it's light-hearted fun movie(s), I just wanted something more from Tucker. But Rush Hour 3 was trash, so Chris isn't always good with Brett Ratner.

1997 was the busiest year for Chris Tucker after he did his comedy special on HBOs Def Comedy Jam in 1992, made a special guest appearance on Hangin With Mr. Cooper, did a comedy special on The Arsenio Hall Show in 1993 and made a small guest appearence as a Mall DJ in The Meteor Man. In 1994 Chris Tucker made his cinematic feature film debut in "House Party 3", the following year Chris Tucker teamed up with former NWA rap member, Ice Cube in the 1995 comedy hit "Friday", during the year of 1995 Chris Tucker appeared two more movies "Panther" and "Dead Presidents". In 1996 Chris Tucker was offered to star in the production filming of B.A.P.S. and Booty Call, but he turned down the role of both movies because he wanted do something a little more physical with his comedy talent after the audience saw his performance as Smokey in "Friday". So Chris Tucker would sign on to play the role of Ruby Rhod in "The Fifth Element", he became the executive producer of his next friday as a the lead star in "Money Talks", he would appearing with Samuel L. Jackson in "Jackie Brown".
