People do stupid things all the time and I can only imagine being in a highly emotional and stressful situation that you might do the unthinkable in the heat of the moment. Not saying it's right but I can understand how it might happen. The part that screams evil to me is that he didn't call the police. He instead drove his family out to the middle of nowhere to dispose of them, all the while begining to calculate and fabricate a cover story. anyone thats never been strangled by someone before.. i have so i'm gonna try to explain this as best i can. within seconds of someone grabbing your neck with that ammount of pressure ..your voice no longer works..you try and try to yell for help..but no matter how hard you try to yell..nothing comes out. that is why the neighbors didn't hear anything...noone screamiong for help nothing...because he strangled every one of them....something about the sides of your neck where your tonsils are has something to do with making your voice work. that's why sometimes when you get sick and your throat is sore. you lose your voice. shannann also wore false fingernails all the time in her videos and i'm sure she had them on that night. has any female tried to fight someone with false fingernails on, you can't make a fist..it is even harder..so with that being said. all she could do was stare at chris in the face as he's strangling her. grabbing onto anything closest to her to get him off of her, so she's on her back on a bed with nothing but a sheet so really the only thing she can grab at is chris's face or neck or try to bite him depending on how hard he had a hold of her neck if that was possible. now that is why chris had scratch marks on his neck and face in his news interview.i bet that was shannann defending herself the only way she could. also she had just had neck surgery....so possibly he even broke her neck. so how this went down is she was on her back with him on top of her trying to yell for help and but couldn't staring at him in the face in a panic just trying to breathe.. as getting weaker and weaker...grabbing his face and neck to do anything to make him let go of her..and just hoping he would let go before she passed out..but he never let go...and he killed her. it doesn't take that long til someone loses consciousness..i bet that is the easiest way for someone to kill someone and get away with it by being discreet and no one hearing the victim or drawing attention...even most serial killers strangle their victims..chris planned this...even so much that so he had any easy clean up of the crime scene...if he shot them..the neighbors would hear gunshots in a middle class neighbor hood.if he stabbed them the neighbors would hear the victims screaming and blood all over the house...he strangled them.because he was calculated and he planned it for weeks. difference is i lived through someone doing that to me..and it took almost a week or so before my voice came back..as if i got sick and lost my f@ voice..didn't even sound like myself could barely talk and the side of my throat was bruised and sore. as if i got f@ strep throat....i hope this helps explaining it...didn't mean to be so detailed and slightly gross with my description.i was trying to explain it the best i can.i hope this helps with some of the speculation..i'm sure anyone else who has had this happen to them would say the same thing.

There is no way he would put crying toddlers into his truck at 5am and ALERT the neighbors. He had called his co-worker days before and asked him NOT to come to the Cervi site early that morning because he would go in his place. Plus he called him AGAIN that morning once he got there to bury Shannan to make sure he was NOT coming. What a waste of time. Was he hooked up to a lie detector? Because he sounds "like" he literally "like" is "like" making it up as he goes along. He still has the idea that he can somehow make people feel sorry for him. I wish the officers had prompted less and put him on the spot a bit more. At points they almost help him with his fantasy story. The claim rage made him hurt Shannan would possibly have worked if he had not killed the children. The whole thing was planned. From beginning to end. Disgrace. He drove his children out to a place he could dispose of them. That is not the actions of an enraged or confused man...

Loading the gas can was just a show for the camera. He knew the neighbor's camera would pick it up, and he wanted it to look like he was loading things for work.
