Christopher Lee Watts (born May 16, 1985) is an American murderer who was sentenced to five life terms, after pleading guilty to killing his pregnant wife, Shanann Watts, and their two daughters.
Watts pleaded guilty to killing his pregnant wife, Shanann Watts, and their two young daughters at their home in Frederick, Colorado in August 2018.
He was sentenced to three consecutive life terms without the possibility of parole, after which prosecutors started releasing all the documents related to the case.

When he was talking about having clothes in the truck in case there was a spill and he said, "Did you ever have crude oil on you...?" there was a good 3 second pause as everyone remembered he put his little girls in crude oil.

I’ve been patiently waiting. I keep wondering why he won’t. What would drive a man to protect a woman who turned on him and “left” him to rot in prison? There’s only one thing that I can possibly understand why he would.. That’s a child. Maybe there’s some truth to the baby conspiracy. Only time will tell.

Chris Watts is actually not a monster. He's a normal person that did an evil deed. You don't just turn into a sociopath one day out of your lifetime. This is why this case is so mesmerizing and confounding. Investigators were stumped by him for this reason. Nicole kessinger on the other hand does have sociopathic traits. She stabbed a woman when she was 16, a family friend. When he mentions burying Shannan and the shovel, he says "we."Chris was so incredibly conflict avoidant and submissive that when Nicole kessinger ordered him to do it and helped him he did it

I agree 100%, he's not a sociopath. He had a psychotic episode, from, like he said, a slow burning fuse. I actually hate using that lingo, and hate the "television educated" who use that lingo like they are educated doctors. SW was not as innocent as people paint her to be, that's all I'll say, I've seen the content that was all put online for the world to see. Those who choose to ignore all that, and CW stating he did not want to be in videos right here in this interview, with every aspect of their lives not private. He had enough of it. He should've been able to separate and divorce, or they should've never been married in the first place

l don't even believe they had a fight to begin with. l think she just let herself go (didn't fight) because she knew her daughters were dead already, althought they came to life again she never knew that. It's so weird She didn't fight for her life, She didn't care the girls either? I don't think so. She was suspecting that he was cheating on her, not that he wanted to kill her. The only reason that I can think of his place in not trying to defend herself is that she saw his life already destroyed.

He said it right out loud. He'll go with any scenario that works. Presenting himself as the docile, meek victim is working well for him, and the investigators are feeding him a three course meal of it. The facts are he was a typical hollering, screaming, abusive male -- the neighbors heard him ffs. It always seems funny to me when the only one who walks out undead, whole healthy and unharmed, is the one who gets painted as the victim.
