I can't do music as background noise anymore and only listen to music to interpret lyrics. The only person i would put on the same skill level as Aesop is Sadistik. Granted, its totally depressive music and way different than Aesop. If you haven't heard of him or you have but not some of his new stuff try : Sadistik - Queitus Sadistik - You don't know Sadistik - Lazarus The man writes so poetically its unlike any artist i know of. He does a lot of work with "Kno" from cunninglynguists and even had Emancipator let him use beats he produced. His older stuff slaps just as hard but he has a lot of weird stuff as well that ive grown to enjoy that many find off-putting at first. He was the one who found Eyedea dead as they were great friends and were supposed to meet up to tour the day he found him. Probably the most slept on artist i know of.
