Hi Steven, long-time fan here but I felt it was somewhat disingenuous that didn't also upload what Chris mentioned about female improvements. Hardly balanced. I know approximately 70% of your viewers are female and this is more strategically correct from a business standpoint, but you're perpetuating the same disparity that is being discussed here. BOTH sides/genders need to take accountability, not just one.

Men can only do better through learning by doing - trial and error. But if any 'error' is punishable as sexual harassment, doing better quickly becomes don't approach at all.

It's not enough for women to say "Sorry, I'm not interested" when rejecting a guy I'm sure nearly all men can take that on the chin and move on not giving it a second thought. Modern day rejection is something else entirely. It's not enough to reject a guy, many women want to severely punish men for having the audacity of approaching them with public humiliation, embarrassment and shaming. That's why men aren't trying any more.

Some truth here, but a guy won’t get rejected by a woman showing interest. Repeated or prolonged eye contact, continual smiling, warm body language, and other flirtatious gestures make it easy to see if a woman wants you to approach her or not. Women are women and men are men, this won’t change. So men just need to go back to being stronger while women need to go back to being softer. Blessings! ❤️‍🔥

@@queenj.8i895That’s not always the case eye contact isn’t always what it seems along with body language, also girls flirting is something all guys won’t pick up on. I think us guys would rather not approach due to the way we’ll get humiliated no matter how many signs you throw at us, it’s not worth the risk on our end and sure we might be left thinking, “Oh what if she was the one that’ll make me want to settle” it’s instantly shadowed by what if she is just trying to humiliate me for the fun of it or worse throw me in the back of a police car. Sorry girl we ain’t approaching it’s just not worth it no matter if you start throwing coins at our heads or trying to act “sexy” the risk outweighs the reward.

The importance of a father in boys lives cannot be underestimated. I never realized this until I became a father. Additionally when a father is in the home they need to stop capitulating to society's version of dumbed down masculinity. Men have intrinsic qualities that need to be fostered, encouraged and controlled. With high divorce rates and other factors the boys are left aimless. Its a very complex issue.

Many of the the relationships i had with women over the years were the result of being a little bit persistent. Girls playing hard to get was definitely a thing when i was younger. To many women it was a bad look if they seemed too easy. I do not envy guys today looking for a relationship. I think nowadays you would be labelled a creep or accused of harassment for making more than one attempt with the same girl. The dating game is hard enough at the best of times. Modern day sensibilities have made it ten times harder.

So, the issue ends up being that there is absolutely NO WAY for a man to absolutely KNOW what triggers a woman. Even the mildest, gentlest approach by a man to a woman could trigger her, particularly if her "standards" are skewed. The same approach from a tall, handsome man would likely be welcome and not triggering. This is the quandary that average men are in; it's just too risky to even entertain the most diplomatic, considerate approach to a woman. It's not worth our dignity, our mental health, our careers, our internal or external reputations, it's not worth anything.

I'm listening to this and I think.. Why is it not about the changed behavior of women? And why are men constantly being portrait as the problem as well as the sad victims of these developments? Because we're neither of those 2. I'm 35 and I can say I'm truly free. I've got money, minimal social obligations, access to casual encounters and enough spare time to get around. Why would that be a problem? Because I'm living the live, and any man who is able to leave that conventional mindset behind will do too.

Are those casual encounters aware that’s exactly what they are? Or are you misleading these women without letting them know your TRUE intentions with them? I’m guessing your lying by omission and this is the number one problem we have on this planet and why this is MENS fault. Yes your lifestyle sounds very easy and relaxed from your perspective but you are the problem. This is dishonest self centred selfish and immoral behaviour. Then men like you all have the audacity to complain that women now cheat are ho’s etc. Well now you may understand why. Many Women are just turning the tables from all the deceit they’ve encountered from men like you. These are the women who now exploit men for their money and treat them like fools in the process. A good woman who is smart will look at your lifestyle and steer clear from you because she knows from the outset your a dishonest user type weak guy. You’ll only get the broken naive desperate ones. Those are the ones who will eventually also cause you pain. Your arms length approach to women whilst using their bodies like as if they are an object without recognising the human being might serve you here but you will die one day and God does exist, morality is taught to us by God who created Love and everything good. Humans deviated from this (just like what your doing) and there’s consequences both here and when you cross over. The fact there’s judgement, justice, corruption, evil here on earth is exactly what you’ll encounter there. Lust is not a part of love, it’s a selfish desire that doesn’t consider the other person. Your basically a con man conning women. Go and con a business or defraud for $$$ and see what happens when you get caught! Justice. So what’s below is above. Love has no part in evil behaviour. You think your a great guy with great qualities in your everyday life. I bet your charming, can act caring etc. But you have a big splinter in your eye to this aspect of you. You need to place yourself in the shoes of the women you lie too to get access to their bodies and see the emotional toll it’s takes on them. I know a lot of men will say, she should be a better picker? So basically everyone has to be on red alert to the evil in these men instead of these men lifting their game and becoming honest and respectful. Well I’m here and I will be blunt from a no nonsense stance. Love speaks truth, truth may hurt. Men want women who pander to them, agree with them etc Even if these men are wrong and heading off a cliff spiritually. They’ll run away from strong women who’ll speak the truth, because the truth is blunt and disrupts their evil behaviours. You got it all wrong, those agreeable types and like an anchor around your ankle. They’ll keep you believing your lies just to keep “peace” with you because they are wanting to extract something from you, has nothing to do with true love. You’ll both end up in dark places with likeminded. Cos those operating on the love frequency will automatically go to a much higher existence where there is truth, love and peace with others like that there. You’ll be stuck with the evil ETs/demons who like a shark will gravitate to blood, when their kind is ready to be released from the avatar they’re in (body). Now firstly I want you to know, I’m not a man hater, I have a 23 yr old son. I’ve raised him morally with wholesome values. He doesn’t sleep around, he will make a good father and husband some day. He treats women with respect but “casual hookups” no way. He is good looking and girls flock to him but he is looking for a good girl who is honest and a team player who understands the word commitment and what acting from a heart of love looks like. Which also includes telling him if he is making mistakes. Having a humble heart and being reflective equals he will listen and take on board the advice if it’s truth. Not rejecting it in arrogance and stubbornness because his ego can’t handle it whilst looking for a more agreeable woman. The difference from him to many young men today is wisdom and maturity, something I prayer your eyes open up too and many men out their living same lifestyles. This experience on this planet will come to an end, yet you never consider the things I’ve mentioned. Darkness is a pit of isolation and mental torment. Choose wisely.❤
@Rose-mystic
@Rose-mystic 8 ай бұрын
Arrogance is evil- the evil within will tell you to reject my advice. That in itself tells you your spiritually oppressed to keep you dumbed down to truth. Yes if there’s an afterlife it means everyone once dead is alive somewhere. Which means those who never went too the higher dimensions are still stuck here in a lower dimension tormenting living people by setting them up, guiding their experiences and dropping ideas in their thoughts (clairvognizance) Their Thought waves enmesh with yours. You won’t hear voices, you’ll just get their ideas. Look up Joe Dispenza on the latest findings on consciousness. Go research Rainbow Body Meditation phenomena, Materialising or Physical Mediums. The supernatural phenomena in bibles, and ancient texts from various religions (Hindu, Buddhism, etc). Then make the links. No one wants to talk about putting all the evidence together (Ets, UAPs, Energy fields, telepathy, channelling & wisdom from enlightened mystics). Why? Because they are too busy being led around by their lusts, that keep them hypnotised and distracted. The war is between the light and the dark. Look at it like a military recruitment because fundamentally those operating from the dark side are trying to wipe out your light to strengthen their position. It will be a long walk back to God and love once ensnared by these entities. Go ahead and mock my words as an evil person would at an instance. It’ll be the death of you spiritually. I suggest if your smart enough to go investigate, you’ll open your mind to the possibility and change your behaviours to walking in love and fasting your addictions and narcissistic ways cos that’s not from love and get on a straight path by developing a love mentality. Meditate and apologise for all the women you’ve used. Be truthful because deceit needs to be set free from your heart before your truly free to walk in love. Forgiveness is a necessity. Easier to forgive yourself once you’ve been truthful. If not by face to face, send texts or emails. But get released from your bondage to evil. I wish you the best.

90% of the time, the random approach is not a winning solution today, doesn't matter how charming or indiscrete you are. People are busy, fast paced, they have no time to dedicate to strangers when walking on streets. Plus women are rightly defensive today with everything you hear on the news... they will just think you are akward. If you want to go for the direct, random approach, then I suggest to leverage one of the dating app out there, which are purposely built to facilitate this and women expect this to be the norm. I personally think the best is always when the connection happen naturally and for a specific reason where you will have the chance to interact meaningfully for something and get to know each other. What is within the man control is to create a favourable environement to increase the chances for these natural interactions to happen.

The thing is sometimes in life you have to create opportunities. So what happens if you train at a gym or work somewhere that you are not attracted or interested in anyone. I feel that if you see someone who you find attractive then you should approach them to start up a conversation. It doesn't mean it will be long winded. I remember years ago meeting someone and I said can I speak to you for a minute. She said okay. I said I had to come and speak to you to at least get your name. If I never approached you I would be kicking myself tomorrow morning if I didn't find out more about you. We ended up speaking for 10 minutes exchanging numbers as the conversation was good but i didn't burn it out and we went out for 3 years. The thing is nothing ventured nothing gained. The worst that will happen is she will say no and you will both go on with your lives.

Strong disagree: apps have their own dynamics, they focus on things like the way you look and that opening line, and girls there are inundated by messages. Look at the data, something like one in a thousand messages gets you somewhere. On the other hand randomly approaching is great: perhaps not on the street, but even if you're just at an event together, you don't need the perfect line: you talk to her for a but, ask her number, take her out, it doesn't get much more natural than that.
@tattoodrdoke
@tattoodrdoke Жыл бұрын
@Mr Knarf I agree with you 100% the ability to random approach also builds confidence and you learn more about body language. Creating a strong level of rapport with people, weeding out attractive nightmares aka Mrs Red Flag and generally just learning to be more talkative. Apps is like buying something from ebay its all about how its packaged and advertised. Doesn't mean when you get it home it will do what it said it would or fit for purpose. I think spending less time worrying about what women want and just going out and practice practice practice and not give a crap about rejection. I have taught my own kids to graft, be smart, but the biggest lesson is to win or learn don't be scared of failure.

Women chose and men get chosen. That is just life. But women have been, for lack of a better word, immasculated. However, some women do approach if they feel empowered and brave enough to do so, and that the risk to their safety is acceptable. It also has to be socially acceptable for them to approach men - personally I think it is, but I speak from a place of bias in that regard. It is concerning that women don't feel empowered, and safe to do this. Women generally have the higher risk anyway: if it goes wrong, she gets hit, stalked, abused. If it goes wrong for a guy: he gets his feelings hurt. So it is less risk to men than to women.

the take away I have from this came at the end and its that there's no room in society for male anger. This has always been true for men of colour and theres great snl sketch with idris elba that shows the contrast between a "big black guy" and a typical "Karen" when they're have to assert themselves in a public situation. I wanna put forward that the academy and its historic elitism is a root cause of most of inequality issues today with all of the biased and incomplete ideas they've put out. Ideas that have affected policy and social customs.

as Louise Perry pointed out on Chris's channel just the other day, men approaching women isn't the historical norm. Semi-arranged marriages are. Masculinity, historically, was based upon the ability to remain relatively sober, do a solid day's work and not beat on women and kids. Which most of us do pretty much all of the time. The problem is that the bar is forever being raised. And I'm talking as a guy who's had dozens of women.

Wrong question and wrong approach. It’s not “how, as men, can we be better?” but “how can we get back to a former sense of reality?” One where we acknowledge that, in general, human interactions, romantic ones included, have always been messy. Therefore, people generally had thicker skin since they understood that mistakes would be made or actions misinterpreted while meeting someone new. The first world is, in fact, not as dangerous as the “terrified” women example implies. Quite the opposite is true. This is generally the safest time ever for women in the first world, and most of those fears are overblown.

Everyone is a cog. Best employee makes the same as the shittiest employee; newest hire makes more than the most experienced guy since raises even for the best are below inflation/ cost of living increase. Most college degrees are worthless. Throw in DIE affirmative action, and there is no reason to struggle or strive in a vast majority of cases. As both hosts have covered, a vast majority of 30yo men are invisible to women. Porn, vidya, social media aren't the cause of the problem, they are both a symptom of it and a self-medicating treatment for it.

Calm men, content men are infinitely better than dangerous men. Only need for dangerous men in today's society is other dangerous men. "When the aliens come you're going to wish men were competitive and aggressive brutes like in the golden days" is one of the worst arguments for traditional manliness. IMO, bigger problem than traditionally non-masculine men are aggressive men who wish they were warriors instead of pod-casters, lashing out their frustration on the society for not appreciating their ability to beat people up. Aggression has place in a finite game, less so in an infinite game, where it becomes self-destructing instead of a tool for protection.

No matter how much society tells women to make the first move when dating, they'll never do it to a substantial degree. On a biological level, women desire men to make the first move because it's called "peacocking", men display their confidence, their assertiveness, their determination, charm, resourcefulness, competence, acuity and intelligence just to name a few things when men approach women. Women won't approach first because women care about far more than just a man's looks, wardrobe and observable wealth when considering a long-term partner and they want men to display these qualities to them which requires making the first move. Men approach for sex mainly, we see beauty and go for it, women don't see handsome and go for it, they want handsome to come to them and show them what he's got. Expecting women to make the first move completely dismantles this extremely ancient facet of human courting habits and it is highly arrogant because like most things, people in the 21st century are quick to think the new unproven thing is the way to go, not this ancient thing that's served more millennia of people than they can count. The more you analyze it, the more you'll find that the qualities it takes to approach someone for sex/a relationship are very masculine qualities and these are qualities they want to see men possess, they don't want to assume a masculine role and make it easier for men to display fewer desirable qualities just from the fact of him being approached instead. A man receiving an approach does not have to demonstrate the qualities I mentioned at the start of this text wall to nearly the same degree because you'll find the act of approaching in and of itself is what makes the demonstration of these qualities either possible or far more effective.

To put Bill Gates and Harvey Weinstein in the same sentence is wild. Bill Gates did somethings very different that got him success. 1. He did not approach her in a confrontational way. He gave her space. He called her (before text messaging). She had the chance to put the phone down 2. He listened for consent. Her asked her, she said yes. 3. He gave her time and didn't assume she'd have no plans. 3 weeks. 4. She stipulated what she wanted if she wanted to go on a date. She said she wanted spontaneity. Not every woman does. But she did 5. Most importantly, HE LISTENED. He listened when she said yes. He listened when she said she wanted spontaneity. And be implemented it and got success. One simple interaction, so many subtle layers. It's not that hard.

Chris over simplifies a little in his theory here I think. Men with a purpose don’t need to be dangerous, aggression isn’t always a utility for violence and it definitely isn’t synonymous. It’s that drive that says I won’t stop here, enough is not enough, and I’m not letting anything deter me from my goal. It’s the uncompromising resilience to follow through on a strategy to make things better. The wanting of respect is a marker of how well the man is doing in his job. We don’t need an alien army to come to unite us or make us useful. We’ve been useful throughout the history of our species. Now more than ever we need role models to prove that is still the case. And we have them, too. People like Elon are exactly what properly placed aggression looks like. Regarding the dating stuff… the people that watch these videos aren’t generally the people that are most dangerous to women, and you will never be able to reason with the ignorance of a stupid animal. You need to appreciate when a man puts himself on n the line to protect a woman in the street. You need to appreciate the police that do the same. Other than that, there is nothing we can do.

It's not so complicated. If a woman finds you attractive, she'll flirt back and if not, she'll find you creepy. Just take it lightly and move on... NEXT! And both men and women have to stop looking at Instagram and thinking they can get the hottest partner... be realistic!!! Find someone in your own league, both physically, emotionally and financially. I find that men today have lost their sense of self respect and they are afraid of putting themselves in uncomfortable situations. It's normal to get rejected! Also normal to fail in life... you learn from it and move on. People should stop wining and being lazy and afraid of new things. I'm 40 and when I was young, guys used to get rejected all the time, but it didn't stop them from trying hard with other women. Men and women today are scared of everything... it's like their parents made them afraid of the world... of reality. Go to therapy, do something that will take away your fears and go out and live life.

I disagree with Steven on a few points. I agree with Chris that the Devil's in the details. I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with an employer asking out an employee, it depends entirely on how they went about it IMO. And let's not pretend that many women don't WANT to date men in superior positions to them. Also, this idea that women should never feel uncomfortable is a bit ridiculous in my mind. All of us feel discomfort with certain social situations, and there's nothing wrong with that - hell, it's healthy to feel uncomfortable from time to time! Again, the conversation is more nuanced than that. If you're cornering her in the supply closet and whipping your 🍆 out, then sure, I agree that's totally unacceptable behaviour and nobody should have to endure that level of discomfort. But if a man politely approaches a woman in the workplace cafeteria, and she feels a little bit embarrassed about it, then I'm sorry but tough. Brush it off and move on with your day. P.S. a lot of the time the difference between her being creeped out, and finding your approach "inappropriate", is down to whether she finds you attractive or not - rather than anything to do with your actions. Two guys could behave in the exact same manner, and if she finds you attractive, then you are deemed confident and charming, if she doesn't think you are attractive then you're a "weirdo" and "creepy".

No! Not a single parent household! Quick! Shack up with some random bloke. Doesn't matter who or even if you like them. Anything other than a single parent household! Brilliant.

What happened to personal responsibility? If these men are so unhappy then it is on them to improve their circumstances. I wonder how many of these guys blaming everyone else for their failures would turn around and tell someone less fortunate than them to pull themselves up by the bootstraps. It's not the strongest or most intelligent of a species that is most likely to survive but those that are quickest to adapt.

Thing is men are giving too much responsibility that is outside of their control without any support or compassion, even though these men did everything right and it didn’t work out for them. Plus no one ever mentions to women about taking personal responsibility for their disadvantages. Which proves men are expected to be held accountable for their short comings while women are rarely held accountable for theirs.

It’s a systemic problem, when the problem is a system, you have to fix the system, not the people. Fixing the system will guide people automatically…there will be outliers but % wise a small fraction of the relative population.

I don't mind asking a woman out but what I can't stand is you can never get a straight answer. What happens to me is ask on a date they say yes, I say how about Tuesday? They say "I got to pick up my daughter". That is not an answer to my question. So Tuesday dosent work? Dose Wednesday? I wind up asking how about Thursday? Friday? Drives me crazy. Don't waste my time just say when your available and we can move on with our lives.
