Not really. The press pit is always full during the first 3 songs of every band. Like any concert, press is only allow to photograph/film the first three songs of any set. The official video crew of warped tour would not come in till the 3rd-4th song of every band unless they were behind schedule. All the videos I uploaded of warped tour are the first or second song of a band's set. Songs you won't find in the Warped Tour's page.

Gotta love show cabinets ! Lmao They all have in ear monitors. My band does to, everyone uses in ears but yet we still set up monitors on the ground and 2 amped 8x10s for bass, one lead guitar has 2 4x12 boogie cabinets. Second lead guitar has 2 4x12 Marshall cabinets. Then rhythm guitar sets up fender cabinets… Literally all of them are for show. None get hooked up. Everyone has there set up plugged into there amp and there amp has an XLR line to the mixer or use a direct box off the amp to go to the mixer.

This was the year I was finally gonna make it to Warped but my parents vetoed it. That said, as a screamer and general musician who's been on stage a lot myself, it always bothered me how Mike and some other vocalists would come out and give what seems like a half-hearted attempt. He's super breathy, barely holds onto any of the longer syllables like the studio tracks, or just straight up doesn't scream whole lines. It'd be one thing if he only started to sound like that toward the end of the set when his voice is getting tired, but he's doing that stuff from the beginning of the set. I love TDWP's music, I even bought 3 CDs, but as far as frontman energy, connecting with the crowd, owning the stage, and making a real effort to have a good live sound, Mike just isn't it. TDWP got big by being ahead of the curve for several years with songwriting. They were one of the first to fully embody that Risecore sound when bands like A7X and As I Lay Dying were still peaking with that big epic Metalblade style. They kept experimenting and landing well with Deathrone and 8:18. But compare their live energy to bands like Of Mice or Suicide Silence. Some bands get good gigs because people love their music, while other bands get good gigs because people love their shows. I always felt TDWP really missed with their live enegy. Plus, none of the members really exuded any kind of big personality. Every interview I've seen just shows them all kinda chilling and speaking casually. Contrast that with examples like Adam D and Howard in Killswitch, Ronnie Radkie, or Oli Sykes, who all have some really memorable character traits and add that extra layer of personality to their bands. TDWP is on the same plane as bands like August Burns Red or After the Burial when it comes to nailing down a certain sound really well but being a faceless band full of members you wouldn't recognize on the street. Like I'm a diehard After the Burial fan, I can nerd out to you over each album, and they've topped my spotify wrapped multiple times, but I seriously can't say one thing about the current members because I honestly have no idea who they even are. I think the singer's name is Antonio or something like that lol. That's crazy to me to put zero stock into your band's personality like that.

I'd rather a vocalist command the stage and have energy like Mike does than give a perfect performance. I've seen them about a dozen times over the years and I've never been disappointed by how intense their shows are. It's crazy to me that you feel that you need one or two specific "big personality" members. The band's music IS their personality, and they're doing just fine with that. Not every band has an Oli Sykes, and it's better that they don't try to force it. In a lot of cases, having a huge personality member tends to create problems
