In the music video it is duet because haechan (guy in denim/ guy in purple in chair) fractured his tibia. And dance practice is his first ever comeback after hiatus for 3 month. That's way he is so impressive for doing that intens coreo

yeah for the duet you saw in the bridge in the mv, haechan wasn't doing the choreo then because he just barely recovered from a fracture injury in his leg at the time TT so he was sitting down for most of the mv also, nct 127 were in japan i think at the time and were also doing their neocity tour in japan at the time so that's why they were in an arena

Wakey wakey and Chain was choreographed by Rino Nakasone and her team. She is famous dancer and choreographer from Japan, indeed have really unique dance style. She created a lot of choreo for SM artist especially shinee and girls generation.

They were probably practicing for their Japan Arena Tour during the dance practice. I’ve seen this dance practice but when someone is pointing out things it’s just different. My friends say that it’s hard to cover an NCT choreography cause a lot of things are happening and a member needs to learn his part of the choreography and I see that in this dance. I miss my babies. The last time I saw them was in a concert in Japan. Heard Koreans are getting ready for tours around November. Hope it happens with the vaccine and all. They’ll probably do a Korean concert first then I guess they’ll hit the US first cause they postponed a tour there then go to Japan, then SEA.
