ETH got 75 points his 1st season about 10 more points than Ange's first season. Your 1st season maybe better than some top managers' 1st, but that doesn't mean a thing. Your previous manager may have left a good squad for you to win more games in your 1st 10 games. But once team is into your style, results would be different. And after another 10 games say, unless you have a plan B, you may even be found out and results would be horrible.

You plp that are very selective with your stats in your desperate attempt to spin a narrative are truly laughable. How about he's the first manager to lose four games in a row in 20yrs. The fact of the matter 80 per cent of rebuilds fail in their firdt year. 19 managers in 23yrs have failed at Spurs. Funny how you conviently swivel past that. Klopp, Arteta and Pep are the exception to the rule. The vast majority fail. Even Arteta has only one FA Cup on his resume. How many rebuilds have United, Chelsea and Leicester gone through in the past 5yrs and they've won more trophies than Spurs.

Good honest down to Earth press conference. I have faith that big Ange will drill into the Spurs team a winning mentality over the coming seasons. And any players that are not on board will not last long. He must also be willing to adapt his tactics to whatever is put in front of him, sort out the defensive issues and make a leader the new Captain. I love Son, but he is too nice to be as top class a captain as he is a player. Plus when Sons form drops, as it has this season, he can be dropped easier when not the captain.

Ange is SPOT ON (as usual) re: VaR The game is about entertainment and celebration. Technology is robbing the fans & players (everyone) of their emotions, it's like MIND GAMES! -- and we all know that those LONG DELAYS happen when humans are trying to make decisions based upon blurry photographs... and drawing imaginary lines from the pitch, all the way up to the players elbow, or even his nose! This is madness. VaR is ruining the beautiful game.

But cant help thinking 4th would be assured possibly more if we had Kane, i really hope we get a good target man who can finish and Johnson gets some confidence that he can fly past people & cross accurately. I see a good clear out is needed again and bring in his type of person/player.
