I just noticed I commented a month ago. Not very friendly of me. I musta been in a bad mood 😆. I’m not sure if I have already welcomed you to the VW community but just in case. WELCOME. Thanks for sharing the video. Sounds like you have a lot of experience with cars. I have been into cars for a long time but have never gotten too deep or technical. Trying to change that. I also want to build my first VW engine. I will be buying a new case and all the parts. I found an engine at a swapmeet that I am going to practice on before I build the expensive one. Thanks I learned something from your video and I should probably buy that book you mentioned.

its heavier cuz its aluminum not magnesium. can you please go over the case savers when you install them.
