I came to USA from Africa in 96, he gave me 2 beautiful kids and then started kicking my ass everyday. so I left from Florida straight to NYC Shelter and became a single mom. I never went after child support because I knew it was a waste of time in my case, didn’t want him to find us. My hands was tied, I applied for NYCHA and got in within 6months. So I worked 2-3 jobs sometimes. Now my son on his last yr in medical school, my daughter a pharmacist and my last child at the age of 15, wants to work with labor and delivery wards. God is great.
