Why I’m selling my 2022 Kia K5?! My Safety Concerns

I’m sad to say goodbye but I sold the K5 today 🥲 for a few reasons I got it for $28K MSRP and CarLotz purchased her for $34K cash. Another main reason was because of a lot of safety concerns Kia needs to fix here’s a video on some of those things let me know what you think of this. And car had 9K miles btw. I loved opportunity with this car but Kia please make some changes and listen to your customers feedback please.

Wait a minute - the vehicle won't let you lock the car with the engine running, yet you push down the remote start button on the fob and it locks the car just fine? Where's the problem?!?!?!?

@@bigmacdaddy1234 no, he didn't misunderstand. that's EXACTLY what the person said. in the video he clearly states his issue is that when the car is running, the keyfob doesn't allow you to lock the doors. then he goes on to clearly state that he has to use the remote start button the switch the engine off and then unlock (assuming he wants everything done with the keyfob). it's an absurd nitpick.

Thanks so much for sharing this. I'm marking this one off the list. Not being able to lock the car while it's warming up is bad. Also, the a/c issue is a big deal breaker.

Newer cars don't lock when the vehicle is on. My car 2010 Nissan Maxima did, but now my new Honda Accord won't lock when the car is on

My Kia k5 not a good car to drive in the winter. The ambient sensory will go out once it hit low temperature. Will cause the car not to move until u replace the sensors. Many issues going wrong with the car… He does not want to mention.

Correct but it seems to have lost that. In Florida I didn’t have any issues in AZ it works well but once we started hitting 108 temps it wasn’t holding up.l
