This trilogy is something special. As someone who grew up with this series, who waited in excited anticipation for each new instillation, season, and update, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this series is something special. This trilogy isn't just about a boy and his dragon, it's about adversaries becoming allies, allies becoming friends, and friends becoming family. This series teaches us compassion, friendship, mercy, and confidence in oneself. It shows us that it's ok to lean on those around you, to ask for help. Re-watching these movies is just as amazing as it was the first time, and somehow better. I hope to one day show these movies to my kids, to show them a tale of a boy who grew from a unsure and unconfident boy, into a confident and sure of himself leader and friend. This trilogy is my favorite for all of these reasons and more! Just remember the next time you feel like the world is against you, like there's nothing you can do about the injustices around you, that inside all of us is a dragon, waiting to spread it's wings and fly forth into this amazing world, we just have to be brave enough to let it soar. Let your inner dragon soar, let it be free to show this world what you're really made of! All it takes is a little bravery.

It's not until you watch the movies and shows together do you really get an idea of everything Hiccup and Toothless went through during the six years that the franchise took place. The fact that he went through so much at such a young age and managed to become stronger because of it is what makes his character so great. He went through two wars before he was even 20 and saw some pretty intense stuff. That alone would be enough to break anyone from the traumatic experiences. But he kept getting up and never gave up with his friends to back him up. The shows added so much to the story; showing how he grew from the boy in the first one, into the man in the second.

Please Read: Updated 09-July-2018: Seems like this video is unaffected (yet), so I'll post it here. Thank you guys. I am so thrilled that this channel reached 1K subs. But sadly, accompanied with this is but a disaster. As you may have discovered, KZbin has blocked several of my videos completely/in some countries. By now I've lost "Balloon" "Colorful" "Shape of My Heart" "We Are Number One" "Counting Stars" and "Raging Fire", 6 in total that you might not watch anymore. I even lost the only Kung Fu Panda video I've ever edited. Apparently, the legal owner of the materials I used in my videos is getting stricter in checking the visual content, and this affected me significantly. I'm not writing this to complain, as it's within their rights to do so. However, with the damage caused, I don't think it's possible for me to continue editing videos, not if I'm exposed to the fact that I may not be able to share my works with anybody. I set up this channel to do things I loved to do. Passion keeps me going. And now, it's discouraged. So... yes, I'm sort of quitting this channel. It's heart-breaking to come to this decision. I was going through my comments and trust me, I read every one of them. All of you guys have been wonderful to me. I've come to know many great talents and souls in this fandom. I love conversations with you. I love hearing your stories and ideas. It always feels too beautiful to be true. I can't thank you enough. I really can't. I don't rule out the possibility to come back. I have also an account on a Chinese video site called "BiliBili" where I keep all my videos intact. Maybe I'll restart. Here, BiliBili, Vimeo. It's possible. For now, though, I think a break is needed. You're always more than welcome to visit my FanFiction.net page (there's no content there yet, but I do write fanfictions, so...). You're always more than welcome to E-mail me. You're always more than welcome to be my friend. This has been one of the best chapters in my life, I can say it right now. Everything comes to an end. Mine's just comes a little early, a little sudden. But I'll remember this. And I wish you the best ahead. Love, Chris

Dame this move had me crying for hours I promise I will never forget this move and I tell my kids back in my day they were dragons and they live so far that anyone who went looking for it never came back but when lava comes out of the earth it’s the dragons telling us they’re still here and we will guard the Secret until the world is safe for them to live among us

I balled my eyes out yes I'm eleven but I've watched httyd since I was a baby I loved it since my dream was for toothless to find a girlfriend I actually drew a picture of a white night fury and toothless when I was 3 httyd got me through some darn tough times like when somebody I loved died and then I thought I was nothing then httyd 2 came out and it taught me that everybody is a somebody I am a gentle soul I cried through this it was terrific it gave me the memories I even have a lot of toothless toys and a httyd dragon phone theme and keyboard theme #httydforever❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Love that “give it all you have” is on Heather and Dagur cuz that’s the Berserker way. No idea if that was intentional or not, but it’s awesome.

Sitting here at 2020. I have watched every season 7+ times. I have watched every movie to the point I remember every word. Word for word. Same with seasons on every episode... This was a huge part of my childhood... I'm gonna cry. I have no words for how much I love this show. I kid you not when I say my depression got worse when I saw that httyd 3 was the last one...

How to train your dragon was my safe space. it gave me motivation, and inspiration, that there is always a light in life. though i was crushed to hear that it’s over, i’m happy to say... thanks to HTTYD, *i swear, i lived.* thank you for the best years of my life.

This trilogy has been one of the most touching I’ve ever watched. I can’t believe it’s gone now, forever. I assure you no matter how old this trilogy becomes I will make sure my kids watch them all. And I will tell them stories e.g “in my day, there were dragons” as hiccup would say. RIP HTTYD Good bye hiccup, and all your amazing adventures. You will be missed by us all. Keep up the amazing work btw, I really enjoyed the video :)

All of us that watch this guy's videos can clearly see that httyd is a masterpiece that will never be destroyed but most or the rest of the world are blind to that fact so we need to make them see also everyone subscribe to this man he is a legend and way too underated

I consider myself lucky to been alive to start and end the journey with them, now new generations can just watch the whole franchise within a month or two but for all the og’s of the fandom, we got to experience the adventures as they came out, we got to experience this story with the dragons and riders. I think that’s a pretty cool thing to have, and weird to think none of the new generations have it

Every time I listen to a song from this beautiful movie I get flashbacks of some scenes from all the movies and I start to cry because even though the story has ended (? (Although it is not known maybe it will continue) I remember the first time I saw it and I do not regret it, it is a movie that has marked everyone's heart and I feel that even though time has passed, this movie still brings out tears .... no matter how many years this movie has passed, it will always draw smiles, tears and happiness .... honestly the best movie in the whole world

I love that you not only included all the movies but also the short movies and series as they had very beautiful storie lines. Sometimes I'm really mad that we never saw anything of Dagur, Heather or the Defenders of the Wing in the movies especially the third...I get why they did it but still...really really beautiful video, captured exactly why this is such a good series.

It’s been quite the journey.... These movies were, and still are, an important part of my childhood. In all reality they helped from my idea of friendship and loyalty, and what it purely means love someone, in any type of form.

In 2014, I sat in a chair in a library. My eyes attached to the beautiful Vikings and their dragons… My friend told me to go. The library was closing. Later, I had finished the movie at home. In 2019, listening to the trailer of the third movie. Boy, while watching it I had an indescribable feeling. It was like my Celtic and Viking Ancestors were calling out to me. Httyd had grown on me. Now, I listen to httyd music covers, Viking music, adventure music, and epic classical music thanks to the films. What a beautiful, adventurous, and fantastical trilogy!

This is without a doubt my favorite HTTYD edit. Perfect in every way. Pluperfect in fact. The word pluperfect comes from the Latin phrase plus quam perfectum, "more than perfect." The Latin perfect tense refers to the past, while the pluperfect references "more than past." - HTTYD is perfect in the past present and future.
