Sitting quietly is really hard for me. But sitting and praying very quietly in tongues I can do. I appreciate so much that your streams are getting me back to the basic of praying more and more in the Spirit. I've been a believer for over 40 years. This is such a renewal that I needed. Thank you. Lots is changing in my life through this.

Real question and I hope you can help me. What is the difference between speaking in tongues and praying in tongues? Is it heart posture? Is it focus? Is it body position? Is it different in some other way? How does a person know when they are simply speaking in tongues versus praying in tongues? Thank you

@ There is one Holy Spirit and tongues is an outflow of the filling. When we are saved we receive the well that never runs dry. Holy Spirit comes to indwell us. The difference is that when He fills us to overflowing, it runs out as a river. Tongues is just a gift that goes along with that. The gift for the church is something that is practiced in my own church, and there is always an interpretation. The gift of tongues is part of the filling. I pray in the gift. It's not a body posture, or a way of thinking. It's just a gift and I can pray the perfect prayer coming out of Holy Spirit in me. You see that Pastor CHris prays quietly in tongues. He's just sitting. I worship in tongues. I've been speaking in tongues for 40 years, so it's just natural to me. I put my heart toward something or someone, and pray. Someone asks me for prayer and I don't know how to pray. I don't want to inject my own agenda or opinion...I pray in tongues.

Man, distraction was REAL today!😑. I had to get up and walk around and pray. Thoughts, notifications, phone calls, stuff I had to do... etc were constantly bombarding. I couldnt go as deep as I wanted. I appreciate chris sharing his own struggles with distractions. Helps me know I can conquer them if I keep going. I know God never changes or leaves. I know it's my problem, I just don't know how to fix my distracted brain. You said many times before that to praise the Lord when our brains wander, and I tried that today, but it kept wandering. I'll try listening better.

I just want to say this even before I watch the video 😅 WE MUST OBEY HIM I've learned that he values obedience (probably) the most. ✨ If you feel like you can't accomplish what he's asking of you, just lean on him and don't diminish your prayers but do the complete opposite and try to increase your time with him. He's always faithful, he promised in his word he'll be forever with us and that he'll strengthen us 🙌🏼

I had to listen to this again the next day because this was one of the longer ones and I didn’t have the ability to really thoroughly enjoy it, so I made time for it the next day and all of a sudden the Holy Spirit was all over me and gave me a vision, and then I got my notebook in my pen and began to write a word from the Lord. I did call and leave a message at Fathers Glory International because I didn’t know where to contact for the word that God gave me and I felt led to share, and you can deal with it what you will and use it. But I had a supernatural experience during that Beginning, quiet time and then the message at the end was extremely powerful yet simple but yet so deep all at the same time that’s when you know it’s God because it doesn’t take us making it harder complicated for God to speak right to our spirit man. So I wanted to say thank you For being obedient and doing what you do for the Lord and being his humble servant to make sure that the rest of his flock learn and understand and get fed by the one true source, Lord Jesus Christ. This just puts a whole new perspective on what being a Christian means And what the relationship should look like and feel like and how weird to walk it out with him and it just places a whole new perspective on my heart. Praise God!
