I'm trying to remember an old new orleans commercial that had the catch phrase "open 8 to 8 so don't be late".....any idea what that was for? There was also another one that left an impression on me as a child I've been trying to remember that had a guy dressed in a roach or termite costume and asked something like does your house have the scuzzies......does that ring any bells?

These are great! Thanks for sharing the memories. Question- You wouldn't happen to have a copy of the commercials created by WWL for the Frank Davis Christmas Special? I don't recall the year, but there were little elves featured all over them.

Thank you! I was the lead Elf in the various commercial spots, and it was a great time with Frank as always. I had one or two of the spots on video, but those videos went the way of Katrina before I could digitize'em. *sigh* Thanks again, and keep up the great work of restoring and sharing our New Orleans TV history!
