Lesser is so beautiful just on its own . Finally figured out my lesser female I didn't think she was going to make it she wouldn't eat from hatchling when I got her . Finally tried a chicken and she takes a chick every week now . Because of your video I know that quails are equal in nutrition to rats so I may get quail . Chicks are super cheep so that ok and she is finally going . I don't know if I worry to much but ball pythons are not worry free pets to me I'm always checking , changing , trying to figure out stuff.

Your fertility has been so.good don't doubt your self seem you where doing very well . Sometimes you get it correct the first time . I have my two oldest snakes they both stopped eating . They haven't been eating for eight weeks . They are both around 1200-1500 grams . I've adjusted the heat and humidity and nothing . I just put them together about a hour ago I'm hoping that gets them back on food . Not to worried about the male but want the female to be ready next year.

I’m still pairing myself but all my 5 females have gone off of food and have large follicles to where there gonna be getting paired, 1, maybe 2 more times before they give me eggs and have my Mojave het pied just shed her prelay shed and will be the first one to go this season.. a very excited time and first chance to make some very nice OD stuff, paired my OD enchi leopard het pied 66%het clown male that was also paired to my banana firefly female that’s looking like she’s about to ovulate

I’m looking at getting some ARS racks, do you think it would be difficult to keep the humidity down? I use 34qt tubs with air holes, paper towel and still have 60-70 humidity

So I'm looking to start breeding a few snakes in the next year or 2. So far I only have a couple males. I have a fire yellowbelly 100 percent het clown male, and a yellowbelly male. I was wondering what females I should keep my eye open for to purchase this year that would be a cheap purchase and a good money making combo for those 2 males. Any suggestions?

Just had a question, isn’t that a bad thing for all your breeder females to go back on food after going off of food during breeding season? Meaning doesn’t mean that there deciding to reabsorb there follicles instead of continuing to build them or were they not far enough along for them to hit the point where there follicles got big enough where they went off of food after there ravenous food stage building as much fat reserves as possible to did i missunderstand what you were saying ? I apologize if I did I just thought that when they go off of food after that stage if they go back on food . I’ve been keeping for Yearssss but only in my second breeding season myself but from what I understand that’s not really a good thing and just trying to understand. But I do understand if they reabsorb the first row of follicles you still have a chance if they go back on food and am paired up and decide to grow there second row of follicles so not all is lost as long as you keep it up

Continue to pair all the way threw to the end basically and you’ll have the best chance possible for your females to go all the way threw there cycles and lay some healthy eggs..
