Chris, please take this comment in the warm spirit in which it is intended. You are like the snake industry's fun drunk Uncle in all of your videos. You're in such a good, relaxed mood and just a little off kilter and goofy. Thank you for the good information, and I enjoy your videos immensely! You do a lovely job of not talking down to people, a tone many other snake breeders on KZbin would benefit from adopting!

I do corn snakes, and not a fan of ball pythons, but his info is pretty good. I would never breed a ball python, but if I saw a pied I really like for a good price I may open my wallet.

Great video Chris! Have you ever seen the Monarch ball python? The potential is crazy and there's quite a few here in the UK but it's just too expensive for me to get into. Really impressive morph

Yes I've seen it, wonder if it's compatible with the Ultramel? They look really close...

@@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures it would be awesome to find out! There's so many possibilities if its compatible with other bright morphs, I've seen a pair for sale on morphMarket that are het monarch and puzzle. Could be a really interesting project for someone with £3000 spare haha

Chris, thank you very much for all the good and interesting informativo on rats breeding as well as on ball phytons, I have my own rats colony , and usted to have mice, and I want to start breeding balls, I got 3 females now and growing them. One question, I always listen that starters shoudent begin whit heads of recessives, because you obtain only normal looking babies. If I have codominant females and bred them with a recesive male, what the hatchlings will look like?? Thank s and contimuou with the good indormation!

First off love your videos. Thumbs up x2 Sir. Extremely interested in your bamboo line. Female of course. Have found your content full of helpful information on BPs. Hope to soon make my first investment into a few females and have sponged your channel, MM, and WoBPs for weeks now. Keep em coming Chris! Also what is your personal opinion of what the mystery gene of Storm Trooper is? AND if I could suggest and ask you make a playlist on identifying Co/Inc Dominate genes visually? Maybe some hints and tips similar to your het marker video would be awesome.
@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures5 жыл бұрын
I have no clue on that Stormtrooper. Interesting snake.
@jonflannery89845 жыл бұрын
Chris Hardwick that it is for sure. Whatever it is would be interesting with pied I imagine. What knowledge can you drop about genes you know of that darken highlights or patterns with age? Have you seen super pastel with TSK axanthic adults? Do they hold that crisp contrast of hatchlings? The few sub-adults seem to hold better with some blushing. And with that can you tell me do you think clown would contribute a head-stamp with a killer bee axanthic... or what could keeping the crisp contrast but being Co/Inc instead of recessive clown? Sorry for the lengthy comment but if there’s a dialogue open I could have a ton of questions. Extremely interested in what a penta recessive visual would look like and what would such a beauty be worth? Truly would be Regius.

@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures5 жыл бұрын
The 'Desert' has fertility problems with the females, they will die if you try to breed them. And most people stay away from the gene, it's totally a different gene than the Desert Ghost. Check out Morphmarket, only 11 Desert combos and all are males: tinyurl.com/rbxzu7h I actually did a morph special on the Desert, check it out: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5_OYqKsiKufZrc

Hey Chris, is it possible to homozygous for both sk and VIP axanthic? Quite a while back, VIP axanthic was favored over the sk as a cleaner and less likely to brown out. Anyway, just curious if a ball could express both versions at the same time.
@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures5 жыл бұрын
I think it's possible
@dawnmurphy4035 жыл бұрын
Wonder what would happen if you took a double het VPI & SK axanthic bred to another same double het and hit both? Since they’re not on the same allele one would think both genes would affect the appearance in diff ways. That could be quite interesting.
