Because it is , it’s “sibling s3xual 4ssault/abus3”. There are multiple definitions of SSA , you have to specifically look for it in the way I’m referring to, but it is a term used among survivors and some medical organizations. The biggest definition in the US of SSA is the social security administration, then there’s “same sex attracted” and finally sibling s3xual abus3 . There’s probably more obscure ones but these are the ones I know. So yeah 3 pretty different definitions under the same acronym.

It's just another way for Christians to go against their own faith without openly admitting to doing so. Most modern Christians are straight up degenerate hedonists like the rest of us, they just live in denial or think that going to church on Sundays makes up for being totally godless for the rest of the week. PICK ONE OR THE OTHER! Yes we're all sinners and born of sin or whatever, but that isn't a free pass to act like fuckin field animals, you're still supposed to try to practice moral willpower. I'll be listening to some Satanic rap music and if you go to the comments you'll see people saying things like "I'm Christian but I like this kind of music!" It's totally absurd. In what sense of the word are you still a "Christian" at that point? The Amish are probably the most legitimate Christian sect, they're modest and actually live according to scripture, yet they're humble and not half as condescending or preachy as a lot of these false Christians.

The next thing my friend opened the bedroom door where I'd been holed up & just told me she'd been X communicated from the church. I flew home bewildered.

@@mandolen3317 sadly, two decades later, I find out my friend's life had turned on its head 180⁰. As in many students relationships we lost contact after the initial first few years of graduating (class of 2000). We were very close & I missed her but keeping up the friendship with us being at different ends of the island (she returned home to Scotland & myself home was London). Roughly 4-5 years ago I tried to seek my lost friend with the help of the internet but my investigating led me only down dead ends which I found odd & slightly perplexing especially given the line of professional work we'd been trained in. Even more so with my lost friend. She was such an incredibly talented actress & I stress INCREDIBLY talented she was the only exception our drama school made in it's entire history of offering her a place straight after she completed her training at the age of sixteen from the world renowned performing arts school Silvia Young (18 yrs of age was standard procedure to enroll at our drama school. I was accepted at the age of 19). Anyhoo, I managed to find a mutual drama school friend of ours & contacted her in regards to finding said lost friend. My mouth dropped at what she told me. Our friend had completely scrubbed out her past life due to we think, a build up of guilt having lived a typical, colourful teenage life in dirty, seedy London. That combined with apparently meeting with who was to become her partner who also just happened to be, a devout Mormon! She rejoined the church head first with gusto probably because her first experience with Mormonism cut so deep it inevitably brainwashed her that that's where the guilt layed. I think she may have felt the increasing feeling of needing to redeem her once religious, indoctrinated values in fear of when the time came her conscience was cleared from past "evils" & she'd be at peace meeting her maker, though I am speculating here, somewhat. My only hope is that she is at peace with her taken path & not in "pieces". I doubt I'll ever know for sure. So, here goes......Gemma my love. I think about you all the bloody time. I hope you're mummy to your beautiful children & that your partner thinks you're amazing & gifted as I always did. You'll always be a big part of my bumptious, juvenile memories & I can't apologise enough to you for probably being the reason you were banished from the church all those years ago (knowing what I know now about the Mormon church they may have used the "homosexual" card as a deploy to mask the actual reason as to why the X communication but I'm no fool as to how much my kind is actively discouraged from having anything to do with the religion let alone, god forbid, joining the Mormon church).......Long winded, I know (sorry to any patient readers & thank you for taking the time to read my only experience with this odd religion)but actually I rather found myself typing this story cathartic & I hope enlightening for you, the reader...😇

@@mason4354 @KyleP133 “comphet” stands for “compulsory heterosexuality”. it’s a term used in queer spaces to explain what the guys in this video are doing. it’s a mentality of “well- i mean guys are hot but like i’m straight, i can just acknowledge a guy is attractive” or “well like… i like talking to this girl and she’s a good friend of mine. i guess i could see myself dating her and kissing her might not be that bad”. basically a mode of thinking where you’re gaslighting yourself into thinking your own gay thoughts and feelings are just “what everyone feels” and that platonic feelings for the opposite sex must somehow be romantic or sexual attraction. contrapoints video “shame” goes over some aspects of comphet really well.

I’ve never seen your videos before but I have to say your delivery of the jokes kills me every time. Deadpan perfection. That being said I lived for this show because holy hell was it fascinating
