Acrimonious Aman haha I feel you, but I was honestly trying to cater to the song & treat it as if I was tracking a record. NOT like your standard KZbin drum video. I've recorded tight hi-hat parts on the majority of records/songs I've played on. It keeps everything focused & clean in the overheads/room sounds. Which is especially important on a pop song like this. As much as I'd love to go Dave Grohl on my cymbals; I like to keep a certain class to the pop remixes.

If it helps, just know that this should be read in the most authentic of proper English accents. Let me just tell you. This song has come to mean a tremendous lot to me over the years. It has come to reflect a source of abuse that was unknown to me through psychological amnesia. The source of that pain was my step-grandfather. The affair that I had with him was one of absolute terror and completely devoid of my own volition. To see you engaging in such passion to express the nuances of this song utterly breaks my heart. This also happens to be the specific day that is the day that the girl that got away dumped me on her own birthday, I have attempted for the past ten years to reconcile the pain and grief caused by her departing. I have briefly, over the years, decided that perhaps taking up drumming would be a suitable past time in her absence. The reason for this was, of course, the amount of passion that needs to be placed into the role. To say that you have that passion is an understatement to the extreme. Hey man, I'm not sure if he'll get back to you, but I upload youtube covers as well. The easiest way to do (as you can see on my "If You Can't Hang" Cover) Is to either lower or raise the pitch of the audio track before recording by at least .5 semitones. It also helps to speed or slow a song down by 1-2%
