Hi Chris, I'm Ida, from Hong Kong. I'm a self-learner have very limited skills. I've been a pianist at church for 3 years. Our church sings cover version of English songs too. 😊 Last week we sang the Mandarin version of King of Kings. I'm so so grateful that you did this tutorial! Thank you so much 'cos it's my first time playing this song. 😅 I follow the way you taught. You have given me many inspirations too. If I didn't see your tutorial, I would not have thought of playing the chords like your way, and this is my first time playing an octave in the right hand with those chords. I also study why those were used, hearing the voicing, the relationship between the chord inversion and close position. Since this is my first time playing this song, I just followed the way you play in the verse, and then use some basic triads in chorus. And I always stay in the middle part of the range, cos I I'm so nervous with the hook, and have to be stay prepared throughout the whole song. 🤣 Especially the first D/F# after the hook, am so nervous I will crash it. Haha.😆

Nice video thankyou! I don't care if you didn't sing like Pavarotti, that's not the issue at all, it's about worship and nothing to do with giving a ' perfect ' performance
