u can thank our coaches of past keeping the 4-2-5 defense for that.... when you have elite athletes at DB, you dont need to run a nickel... they didnt realize that.... our lack of pass rush made them cover longer than necessary... an elite pass rush with average DBs will outplay an average pass rush with elite DBs every time... im so happy mullen changed our base defense... it will be elite again very soon

with players like hightower, derek rivers etc. coming back this season, he should compliment them pretty nicely. a malcolm butler type player. was nervous when we lost him but this pick makes me feel a little better going into the upcoming season. The biggest thing i like about this kid, not only his ability to press against recievers bigger than him, its his ability to make open field tackles. to get low and stretch out like that, especially being small like him, takes an immense amount of skill.
