Cory Lockwood is the screamer and he has to be one of my favorite with his cadence reminds me a lot of Jon Mess but he makes sense lyrically. Check out: Sufferer "Sword" is a super band with A lot like birds, Hail The Sun and I the mighty

Sufferer is like my favorite album all the way through. Gonna get the cover tatted on me soon

Connector is a must listen by them. Plus it has an awesome animated video by the same animator that does Dance Gavin Dance's animated videos.

Oh and the unclean vocalist is Cory Lockwood. He’s in another band called Sufferer along with the guitarist from Hail the Sun, and they put out an album in 2017 that was pretty heavy. One of my favorite albums and it’d be dope for you to hear it!

Yessss this album is perfect from start to finish. Give the rest of the songs a try when you can. Also the screamer Cory has some of the best lyrics ive ever heard. Guy is literally a poet

I would definitely recommend their tracks Tantrum or Blowtorch from this album. Just amazing work, you wont regret it!!

Dude what a great starting point! Yeah the DGD Cinematic Multiverse is pretty crazy, man! You were right about that being Kurt in the beginning but he's not doing those screams, that's Cory Lockwood. This one definitely gives me Happiness vibes though, so groovy! The back half a little more like the self titled Deathstar album but the first half, definitely!

Orange Time Machines Care and Kuroi Ledge are definitely my top suggestions for ALLB. Good stuff.

Cory Lockwood was savage for their 2 albums with Kurt. Just needs more credit for his original style.

This band does things to you man. Theyre an experience, for sure. Connector is probably their most popular song. Orange Time Machines Care, Next To Ungodliness and A Satire of A Satire of A Satire Is Tiring are all amazing tracks too

My favorite band 😍😍😍😍😍

Back at it again with another classic favorite, ALLB is just pure perfection. I like this album FAR more than their next one but they are still just amazing. Another out of the box recommendation I would make would be Thank You Scientist - Caverns, they vibe with this general genre of music.

I loved that you reacted and enjoyed the song. I just wish you would've said more about the drummer, he's going HAM the entire time! You should listen to Tantrum next, it's from the same album

You reacted to ALLB a few weeks ago lol, but here are some suggestions: Orange Time Machine Cares, Sesame Street is No Place for Me, What Didn't Kill Me Just Got Stronger, Next to Ungodliness, Connector, Kuroi Ledge.

Here's a suggestion you'll find interesting. There's a band known as Dwellings, and it's as if Alot Like Birds and DGD had a love child. I'll suggest 4 songs I know you'll love. Pink Noise The Color Of The Cat Tree Lemonade Pick up Before You Go

Bro helll yes Dwellings is my favorite of all the "newer" swancore bands if you don't include Eidola
@C.M.M.233 жыл бұрын
Hell yeah! Just got into Dwellings. Exactly reminded me of A Lot Like Birds meets Dance Gavin Dance and The Fall Of Troy. On Pink Noise, the singer even sounds indistinguishable from Kurt Travis. Really threw me off and got me stoke. 🤔

Great reaction, got my sub! You pay attention to the artistry involved as well.

Such an amazing band mayneeee! Can’t wait for you to hear more! Along with WOLF AND BEAR!!!! (Scorched Shore SLAPS)
@C.M.M.233 жыл бұрын
Ah. Kurt Travis was at his best with these guys. A Lot Like Birds was on their own tier with experimental song composition. Like every member was putting on their own individual master class and building it together. A Lot Like Birds? More like A Lot To Take In. 🤘

Not sure why but i was getting a little ISetMyFriendsOnFire vibes from the screaming! That’s another recommendation for you Chris when you get some spare time 😅: ISetMyFriendsOnFire - Things That Rhyme With Orange

Nice react. Have to agree with you, wasn't sure what was happening in the beginning...glad it worked out in the end lol. I've yet to dive into much of ALLB, heard a few of their songs (tantrum is a goodie) but from what I've heard, I think Corey might be my favorite unclean vocalist. Not counting Jon since DGD is my favorite everything lol. But Corey's screams are some good ish

Awesome i figured youd like the journey this song takes you on. You could check out this entire album, Conversation Piece, and enjoy it all lol. I think you already did Truly Random Code so id recommend Orange Time Machines Care or Think Dirty out Loud next.

This was a laughable reaction. Dude that guitar at the beginning is called funk. If you didnt notice theres also brass instruments being played that you didnt even comment on. This band is not trying to sound like your typical metalcore band that you listen to. Open your mind and ears.
