I tend to use white bugeye bucktails to catch stripers with curly tail plastics. I also use menhaden but mainly for night fishing. Loved the video keep up the good work!

All of those are huge compared to the stripers in the bay area haha! The keeper size for us is 18" and up. Keep up the good work bro tight lines.

you're Fishing in the wrong parts of the bay bro! my dad and I have caught fish in the high 30lb range many of times our biggest was caught at the Mothball fleet 7 years ago it was 46lbs we seen 50lb plus stripers caught and released during the spring runs so your way off! there is Huge Hogs in Northern California you just don't know where to go! You need to ask around!

i was fishing on a boat at harvey cedars about 300 yards off the shore on november 25th and had our limit with 4 guys in a half hour, biggest was 42 pounds, snag and dropping, we followed a humpback whale around for about 2 hours

You jersey guys are having one heck of a fall. With the exception of some stragglers they have moved out of RI. It's pretty much just tautog right now. I have 2 questions for you. The spinning mojo inshore, was that a Medium-Heavy or Heavy? Also it seemed like you were not letting the fish run at all with the bait, it looked like you just had your drag set and hooked them once they took it, is that correct? Next time you are in RI for albies give me a shout!
