Casting into WADS of Striped Bass off the BEACH!

Slow start to the day when I searched several spots/hours and found nothing. Eventually Kashmir came on the radio and not 20 minutes later I found a proper bay anchovy feed. 3-5 Year old bass wadded up and grazing tight to shore... I started with a bucktail and the fish liked it so thats all I threw.

It started off with 4 fishermen staying in their zones, before it became loaded with desperate idiots getting in the way of the smart ones, with those desperate idiots not hooking up much. Thanks for the video Chris! I've been wondering where you've been with the fall run and albie videos. I don't know about you down in Jersey, but it's been a very disappointing fall run along the shore in areas of southwestern CT. There's been some crazy days of small fish and some 5 fish days in the backwaters as long as the adult bunker aren't stacked up. There haven't been any bigger fish on the adult bunker. Throughout October, the water temperatures have been warmer than normal. We shall see what this cold snap does.
