I Tried Infinity Nikki and LOVED it

There's a lot of guys playing these games lately. Came out a few days ago this studio's other game, Love and Deepspace, 35% of its Japanese players are men. Similar numbers for China and US, the guys just skip the dating part unless it's to build up stats.

Fun fact about Nikki, its actually well know by its fanbase that its story will be a bit unhinged sometimes. For example, in Love Nikki, the reason why people in Miraland solve everything with fashion battle was because there's blood curse in the land that prohibit hurting someone, because you will experience the same pain whenever you give physical pain to others. But then, one of the vilaiin managed to bypass this curse and stabbed Nikki BFF in fromt of her, and she died in Nikki lap. Or in Shining Nikki where Nikki failed to save Love Nikki's Miraland for 108 times, until she stumbled into Miraland's past before blood curse. She got a handgun and almost managed to kill someone with it.

oh damn, i have never played any nikki games before Infinity nikki. this is wild to me but fascinating. The story of Infinity nikki really did start to give me cult vibes, so that makes so much sense. I am honestly really looking forward to more!

I'm new to Nikki franchise, seeing you mentioned a handgun, my guess is that each Nikki version is a standalone on its own? We've got curse and time travel magic, and out of nowhere there's a random ass handgun in the story lol.

I haven’t played a Nikki game in awhile until Infinity Nikki (played a ton of Love Nikki back in the day and a bit of Shining Nikki) but in the past there has been tie ins between each game. There is a lot of time travel and sort of history erasure in the Nikki ‘Verse because of the gods of Miraland who fight and get up to all kinds of nonsense. As far as the handgun goes, so far in Infinity Nikki we have only seen Wishfield which is a small part of one country. There are many countries in Miraland and they are all very different from each other. Some are more fairy tale but there are also sci-fi countries and military focused countries. They are frequently trying to invade and conquer each other but like the first commenter said: the blood curse forces nonviolence so everything is solved with the fashion based magic in Miraland.

Also because Shining Nikki takes place before the blood curse was enacted due to time travel, in that story people do commit acts of violence and die and Nikki is drugged, kidnapped, and tortured at one point. No idea where Infinity Nikki takes place on the time line yet so it could before or after the blood curse is in effect.

I can't express how happy it makes me to see so many people from different demographics not only give Infinity Nikki a try but genuinely enjoying it, the Nikki game series has been around for a while to provide mobile games for the girlies (not limited to them of course but it is their targetted player base) and its so nice that with this game being open world and on console PC and mobile many more are discovering the joy that Nikki gives so many players! Idk just warms my heart especially when the gaming space still has a lot of issue with women in general, a game like this making the rounds positively is a big win

Love that you make sure to check every corner, collect everything you see, and thoroughly explore the area youre in the first time so you dont miss anything! Usually ppl in playthroughs just wants to get to the objective and do missions ASAP. Appreciate you, dude!
