Well, you're staying with your parents, and I believe they are happy having you with them, they definitely love their granddaughter, and American house is big enough for you all stay together, and your family is so cute.
Hi Christina, thank you for making these videos with entertaining content, and putting everything together with good music, shots of Boston/Taipei and some neat drone shots too. Although I am not mixed, as a Taiwan born, US raised (also US-school educated, Taiwanese-parent raised) third culture kid, I enjoy your videos very much and find them relatable and if not, simply entertaining. It is interesting seeing you and your family's unique perspective and experiences so thank you for sharing your life with us! I have moved out for college, moved back home, then moved out, then moved back home, and now moving back out again. It's nice to be at home with family (save money, will probably never go hungry), but it's also nice to feel independent, grow not under the supervision of parents, and have a place of your own.
You will know when. Different cultures . I moved out at 19 . Stayed for 3 weeks at my after I graduated got a job and moved out. Tough times but it taughtbme alot and prepped me for living abroad. These days I dont judge asians for living with their parents because of cost tbh. It depends on which country.. really

Culture differences, Not all Europeans are living like you people. In Italy, Finland, Poland, Hungary. people usually live together. And there are a lot of failed American families pushed kids out while didn't educated them well enough, So those kids ended up as prey of bad people. Take a look at Kensington Philly, A lot of very young druggies at early 20 are facing death, A lot of parents tried to save their kids, but those kids are beyond saving. (No Asians among them) So, To drive kids out is just one way, there are other ways.It can be successful or failed as well. Anyway, Thank you, We too, surely shouldn't judge your people when we know so little about them.

From what I've heard, more and more young adults are staying home with their parents, and I don't see anything wrong with that. I think the traditional American belief is that kids must move out after college, but in a Taiwanese household, it's more culturally acceptable to let the kids to stay with their parents until they're ready or when they get married.

我已經持續追蹤好久了, 還是不清楚 Christina 的美國朋友 怎麼中文那麼台!? 太厲害了!!這種語言能力~~~甘拜下風
Christina because you are so close with your parents and you all share a loving and supportive relationship, I suggest you stay home for as long as you can. You can pay rent (that money goes to parents who has loved and supported you your whole life vs stranger landlord). Time goes by really fast and one day you will look back and feel so grateful that you had all that time with your folks and laughter for memories. Treasure every moment with your parents while they are still here with us.

hey Christina i went overseas to stay with a "homestay" in Australia when i was 16. been away from home until 30. it was mostly joy, we traveled a lot to spend holidays together but, I would say there IS something special when family get to live together (and annoy each other) thing is- Not every family can do this though. It takes certain characteristics and multiple members to make it work. it serves as an extra bonus force in life- kind of like a solid back support emotionally, may not feel it right away but will last for years to come. sorry about mumbling what i wanted to say is- your family is adorable. please embrace what you have cos its not a given for everyone : ) PS. i watched your other video about people on the internet speaking ill of your mum. please know this: our small island is under information war for Years. there are armies of people across the other side trying to mess up our society. Half these tros aren't even people- there are Bots doing the job now- they play both sides just to spread meanness and make people mad. why am i so sure about this? cos i cannot think of ANYTHING mean related to your mom and your contents! those aren't regular people. take care and keep up the good work- lots of love

Thanks Christina for sharing. What a funny and warm video!
There's advantages and disadvantages to living alone or with family. It really depends on how close you are with family. You have a good support system.
It's cool. Just do what you like. Christina.. be it stay with your parent or rent a place. Regardless, you are a grown up. You can do whatever you like. Your parent love you.
It's ok to move around but not far from your parent's house. Still can hang out together or take care of them when they are getting older. Family relationships is still need to be carried on for generations.
