only difference is that bike is a 2018 model. so euro4. it should not have so many restrictions to begin with. but american models always tend to be more restrictive than the european ones.

@@TheRealBhuado Allot of bikes we do not get here anymore because of these rules. For example the latest models GSX-R600/750 are not allowed in the EU for already many years. We are lucky to have the 600RR back since this year because Honda decided to give it more emission crap restrictions so it is allowed to sell again. Many bikes and cars you guys have, especially here in The Netherlands, forget it! I really have to agree with alpmaster. Over here we can only dream that the manufacturers make these bikes with all these restrictions so they are allowed to sell because we over here experience the other side of this story and that side sucks even more!

Just like clockwork, there are flat plastic oval air restrictor in both air ducts that has the oval only allowing ⅔ or ⅓ (I can't remember which)of the air in (meaning ⅓ of the oval is not allowing air). They should be just inside the tubes just right inside the end closest to the gas tank/engine:)

I have a 2017 CBR1000RR, it definitely has lower hp than the other superbikes, but lighter than the others by more than at least 10 pounds compared to others in the class.

If u want more HP without opening up the engine, get a longer can. Even the stock titanium canister will make a bit more power, but the sc77 Honda lacks airflow in the heads. Get a head/cam package and you’ll have yourself a 195-205 HP double RR. Also, the best stacks to date for this model CBR has the EuroStacks. Thank me later.

I sold my 2019 sp1 but honestly it would be hard for me not to buy that same bike again if i started riding again. Paul Rc51 tuned it and I had euro velocity stacks im pretty sure the numbers were around 185hp 85tq

my 2k5 gsxr 1k had routinely 173hp, 82trq . . . amsoil, BMC filter, 520 conversion 180/10 rear tire, pirelli DOT fairly light, stock exhaust, zero mapping, monster bike that gen 3 was, that is the base blade right? there has to be more there, has to be . . the 520 and 180 is a few more hp 2-3, oil/filter 1-2 .. the honda might need cams?

If you do everything Full exhaust Air filter Velocity stacks Remove intake restrictor plates And a good tune you'll see anywhere from 178-186WHP The CBR is the lightest on the 1000s at 420lbs wet and makes over 85 ft lbs of torque damn near everywhere in the rev range

I'm betting 6 months until the ole' DTC 33 shows up in the ECU. Woolich is shit software. Answer me this, how are you monitoring the AFR and ignition maps above 13,800 RPMs. The ECU doesn't have any tables past that RPM so what are you doing? Just hoping and praying the AFR is right?

LOL this is funny. The company you tried to shill for spoke highly of Woolich and said they were better than Flashtune but you call it shit. I wouldn't be surprised if KCS uses Woolich as well. AFR is logged by the dyno which is why it shows up on the dyno graph when he wants to show it. The connector for the sensor is seen at 3:03.

On paper they make less hp than all the other liter bikes. I currently have the same bike. Mine is a 2017. Earlier this year I had a 2017 hayabusa. My cbr feels every bit as quick if not quicker than my hayabusa even though it makes less hp than the busa. The cbr is deceptively quick. I’m guessing it’s because it’s so light in comparison to most the other liter bikes

I find it funny how people attack the numbers. When I’m on my blade it feels super fast. I haven’t even tuned mine. Completely stock & the thing scares me even if the ecu is closing my throttle at 6k revs. If I wanted 200hp so bad, I’d have bought a duc or an h2. You ride a Honda for the feel, not the speed. It’s also the lightest bike in its class, but no one talks about that

Maybe because it’s my bike, but I feel way more comfortable & confident riding my blade than any other liter bike… even if it’s “underpowered”. 150hp is plenty for me. Would I like more? Sure. Do I need it? Absolutely not
