This was so helpful! It is the first major issue that I've had with the Bambu Lab PS1 that I couldn't resolve easily. I had a clogged extruder and I had filament in my tube, which I could not remove the tube, so I cut it. I got the filament out of the tube, but I still had the piece of tube stuck in the extruder. I could extrude the filament then, but the tube would not come out. I could not find any videos with the filament in the tube when it was stuck. You did great on explaining and showing how to do everything. Well done! At least Bambu Labs don't glue their connectors like Creality does. I will never go back to Creality-Bambu Labs is Awesome!

Fantastic R&R video Like and Subscribe done!!! I agree with you that the hothead wires are a bit janky. As an old (60+ OLD) depot level electronics repair guy (from a previous life), I was pretty flabbergasted that they are using those connectors that "GOES ON THE INSIDE, NOT USER SERVICEABLE" portion of anything electronics!!! That is,until yesterday when I got in the F-150 rental, (because i hit a deer) and the darn thing keeps pestering me (with picture of a baby car seat) not to forget those in the back seat. I asked the wife if she had something to tell me ;-)... all's good there! Anyways, I decided that I do love the level of "user serviceable" that Bambu is going with. I assume this must be what it was to be a dude in the 1950's. Again, great video! One note: i was a half turn from having the cutter arm freed completely... That lead to a little bit of struggle, but I figured that out on the way back in. Best to you sir!

Such a lifesaver! I keep having the exact same problem, down to the shape of the stuck filament, but it always happens at the 99% mark of the print. Is there anything specific that might be causing this to happen, or any tips on how to avoid it?

@@jarrentan6360 mine actually jammed again after this video, and it led me to discover my issue was caused by heat creep from running the bed too hot. So I’d try reducing bed temp if possible, or taking off the top glass lid as that seems to trap a lot of heat inside too.

How do i get the print head closer to the front of the machine so i can disassemble?
@TapticDigital
@TapticDigital Ай бұрын
@@KirkKohler with the machine off you can just slowly pull it forward. If the machine is on you can use the axis controls in Bambu Studio under the Device menu, or on the Handy app in the Device tab

@TapticDigital thanks. Simple. 😅 I think I tried this and it failed. But it's working now moving the head with the app and on screen controls. 🤷‍♂️

The bodin tube can be removed by pushing down on that black collar around it. It's like a push in plumbing connector.

I am getting this issue nearly every time I run a print, what could be causing this issue?
@TapticDigital
@TapticDigital Ай бұрын
@@intricate3dsolutions for me it was heat creep, I was running the print bed (on purpose) much hotter than I should have for printing PLA. Double check your temperature settings, and then try printing with the top lid off and the front door open

I just finished putting it back together and the ribbon was a little out of place, sometimes I just feel like selling this printer lol but the more I play with it the more I learn, again thanks so much I’m back in action thanks to you 👍🏼
