@@raegrimm6640 glad it helped! I found that I can avoid this if I print PLA with the top glass off or at least lifted a little bit so there’s some ventilation for heat to escape. My issue was the PLA melting too much in the hotend from heat

Amazing video! Thank you SO MUCH!. I was having issues with the extruder. It would just make a clicking noise when trying to load or unload filament. I was pretty worried I was just going to have to buy a new extruder assembly. Thanks to your video I had easy to follow instruction with great detail which gave me the confidence needed to attempt a repair. Oddly enough I couldn't find an issue, like a mangled piece of filament like you did. Maybe it fell on the floor or something and I didn't notice? Anyway, reassembled and back up and printing with no issues. Thanks again for the amazing video!!

I checked my AMS first, then every single tube, eventually with you video I was able to tear down the extruder and find that small little piece of filament which was causing all the problems! (My ear digging endoscope was very useful in checking tight spots which is hard to see. e.g. AMS, extruder etc)

I had to do the same thing! My filament was so stuck, I put a tiny tip on my soldering iron and had to use that to separate the filament from the extruder. It was extremely difficult. Thanks for the detailed video! Helped me make sure I didn’t do anything wrong!

This was so helpful! It is the first major issue that I've had with the Bambu Lab PS1 that I couldn't resolve easily. I had a clogged extruder and I had filament in my tube, which I could not remove the tube, so I cut it. I got the filament out of the tube, but I still had the piece of tube stuck in the extruder. I could extrude the filament then, but the tube would not come out. I could not find any videos with the filament in the tube when it was stuck. You did great on explaining and showing how to do everything. Well done! At least Bambu Labs don't glue their connectors like Creality does. I will never go back to Creality-Bambu Labs is Awesome!

This was an amazing help. I had that issue and you helped me step by step. The only thing is that after assembly I still had an issue, I watched another video and was a quick fix, remove the hotend and with the cutting pliers pull out the remaining filament. But your video was great.

Really helped me out with this one. I still had issues getting the filament out of the PTFE tube but was able to get it out by removing the splitter thing on the rear of the printer. Thanks a bunch!

Thanks so much for this! I managed to clear the clog in mine after a lot of brute force to remove the gears (the clog was in exactly the same place as yours, just a bit bigger and really attached to the plastic housing). I got it all reassembled and reinstalled! Alas, now it just clicks quietly and I'm trapped in the "Not Extruded Yet, Retry" loop. Opened a ticket with Bambu to see if they can help further. (Their support wiki is a roundabout of circular references and is less than helpful to a newbie to the platform.)

@@GORGxBLACKSMITH it’s a bit of a learning curve. With the Enders it was about figuring out what was wrong, with bambu it’s more about figuring out how to make it work. I’ve had better luck printing PLA with the lid or door open and no clogs since!

Fantastic R&R video Like and Subscribe done!!! I agree with you that the hothead wires are a bit janky. As an old (60+ OLD) depot level electronics repair guy (from a previous life), I was pretty flabbergasted that they are using those connectors that "GOES ON THE INSIDE, NOT USER SERVICEABLE" portion of anything electronics!!! That is,until yesterday when I got in the F-150 rental, (because i hit a deer) and the darn thing keeps pestering me (with picture of a baby car seat) not to forget those in the back seat. I asked the wife if she had something to tell me ;-)... all's good there! Anyways, I decided that I do love the level of "user serviceable" that Bambu is going with. I assume this must be what it was to be a dude in the 1950's. Again, great video! One note: i was a half turn from having the cutter arm freed completely... That lead to a little bit of struggle, but I figured that out on the way back in. Best to you sir!

That acts like the problem I'm experiencing, though I don't have an AMS on my P1S. Have to allocate some time to work on that. Even where it's at, which is probably going to take a day to clean up to, is better than the A1 Hot End that filled itself up with PLA, and I have to clean that one otu. Thinking a dremel and vacuum would help with that more than anything else.

@@jhow3d688 sure was heat creep! I was running the build plate much too hot for PLA and had the door and lid closed, it was getting way too hot internally and led to that jam. Printing with the top popped or door open has completely fixed it for me

@@chrisnicholas7131 pretty normal. The Bowden couplers have a little bit of play to them that keeps filament from snapping as it gets pushed and pulled back and forth.

I just had this same error. I unhooked the AMS and checked for broken filament and could find anything. I then loaded an external spool and did the "Load filament" process a few times while using manual pressure during the loading process and it worked itself out.

I had the same exact issue thanks. But now I have a new issue when I try to lead filament with AMS it keeps pushing and pulling filament out and it says it can’t go in the tool head even though it is going in. Everything is plugged in I triple checked. Please help

@@jarrentan6360 mine actually jammed again after this video, and it led me to discover my issue was caused by heat creep from running the bed too hot. So I’d try reducing bed temp if possible, or taking off the top glass lid as that seems to trap a lot of heat inside too.

@@KirkKohler with the machine off you can just slowly pull it forward. If the machine is on you can use the axis controls in Bambu Studio under the Device menu, or on the Handy app in the Device tab

I keep getting this error, The cutter is stuck. Please make sure the cutter handle is out, and check the filament sensor cable connection?

@@josuesantiago6363 double check that the cutter arm can be pushed in and spring back out, then check that tiny ribbon that runs in front of the tube connector

I just finished putting it back together and the ribbon was a little out of place, sometimes I just feel like selling this printer lol but the more I play with it the more I learn, again thanks so much I’m back in action thanks to you 👍🏼
