Oh my word, what a session!. Stunning fish, huge Perch, a lovely dark Chub & then that Pike - wow. The underwater footage could have come from an Attenborough documentary & the the editing to upload just absolutely amazing. Your personality on vlogs screams out for a tv series Chris - are you listening BBC!

Ah, I think we all enjoyed that footage of the supermarket trolley in its natural environment. I once attended a pollution incident opposite a large supermarket. It required me to deploy an oil boom but the water was a little deep. Thankfully, someone had thrown a trolley into the stream, I used it to stand on while I put the boom in then returned the trolley to the supermarket door, covered in black sludge, and weeds. They costed (in 1997 money) about 70 to 80 quid a throw and a large inner city supermarket would bank on losing about 60 trolleys a week.

Brother your Vids are GREAT! Your Perch are HUGE compared to what we have here. Do you ever catch/cook or are you allowed to there? They're one of our favorite Fish to eat for sure! That Chub was a monster as well. And what a great ending with that awesome Pike. Thanks for sharing!
@ianrobinson9862 жыл бұрын
In England it's almost always catch & release not catch & cook unless you are on a specific trout or salmon water. In England all waters are owned by somebody (be it a landowner, a local authority or a fishing association) & you have to abide by their rules.

Agree with the previous comment. The TV should be getting involved. We're looking for a new John Wilson and not these carp matches that they show which with respect to that scene I'm tired of watching what could be the same fish bring caught time after time.

Hi Chris could you or any of the other subs advise me on the best braid to get for my ultralight setup. I just bought my first UL rod (0.5-5g) and struggling to find light braid. I have a light setup (4-17g) and use 14lb Berkeley fireline. I have seen Korum do an 8lb dropshot braid but only in 100m
