Great job as usual. 😉 I hava a question. I'm live in Ireland, but next month I'm going to London for 2 months to do some work. Just wanted to ask, maybe you could suggest some fishing spots around London, and what are the rools, how strict😏. Would appreciate your help. Thanks 😉

Man, I am so envious of you guys having that incredible canal system. I'm in Wisconsin and the fishing isn't exactly shabby but those canals are insane. I've never seen perch like that, not many. We've got giant Northerns, you call pike. Your vids are fantastic. I've been fishing most of my 66yrs and picked up a few things from you - thanks for that. I have to mention how clean the water looks and lack of trash is very nice to see as well, no doubt the clean water is really important. Thanks again, Mike in Wauwatosa, WI. USA
@The_ginger_fisherman3 жыл бұрын
Thanks buddy. Although the water looks clean it's actually quite poor quality a D rating here in the uk. You can walk for miles and not find a single fish, then you can come across nice fish held up in the deeper area and slacks. Just know it like the back of my hand

Love your videos! I'm getting seriously itchy to get out... tried to go ice fishing last week, after I ran out of extension I quit, spent 30 minutes hand drilling, got down 6 ft and still dry!! But, may brings the king salmon to the river and April the halibut start following the hooligans up inlet for wicked fun beach fishing... the last month is always the hardest!! Cheers and tight lines from Alaska!

Some Crackin fish ..... I have the same problem as I always try and target perch .. being my favourite species ... It’s very awkward not to come across a pike or two ..... to be honest I’ve only been bitten off a few times as most of the time the Lure is just in the corner of the Pikes mouth ...... Love your videos buddy and here’s The weather hopefully starting to get a bit better and slowly getting out of lockdown and crossed fingers try and get some sort of life back !! 👍🏽👍🏽😀😀🎣🎣

Use Drennan Soft strand wire - supple enough for perch, will withstand the pike's teeth. If there are pike present, shouldn't really use fluorocarbon just to play safe - you have probably left a pike with a hook / lure in it's mouth. And please bring a mat.....always err on the side of caution.
@darrenbell21332 жыл бұрын
As muchas I enjoy watching fishing you used the term jack pike and getting ready for spawning? The term jack pike refers to a young male pike. Tight lines😉

the rivers and canals that you fish in your area, are they all club waters or day ticket?? our local canal the Leeds and Liverpool,has a few decent pike in it, but that's it really lots of small perch aswell, but it's a free water so it doesn't get stocked.
@The_ginger_fisherman3 жыл бұрын
Some of it's free and some club water. It's all in rapid decline with the ea demolishing every swim

@@phillkirby so you can say what you want at the start of the video then can you it doesn't matter that he was targeting that pike that bit him off without a trace or mat because he said he was going for perch really come on that wouldn't be good enough down my local rivers he knew what he was doing was wrong and should be band for a year

Sorry but starting on 6lb fluro when you know pike are about is dumb. 12lb fluro is still dumb if pike are about. Bad example being set here. Either .40 diameter fluro minimum or a light wire. Bad fish care
