He wrote a lot more songs than that. It's just how Nashville and Austin both work, people write songs, others cut them. The writer owns the song no matter who cuts it. 50 years from now both those songs will still be BG and colt fords. Jason has written a bunch of songs too, but he has a stronger voice than BG and with Jason getting the cut BG still made a ton of money from the singles.

Okay I see a lot of uneducated comments on here, Jason has written a bunch of songs, hell he wrote for about ten years, he used to be just a song writer just like Brantley, the way it works here in Nashville is, a popular singer will cut songs from a song writer and make the writer a lot of money if it goes to the top 25, Brantley is a good writer also, but after you get big you don't have to write anymore because people like me are trying to get our songs to them everyday. Don't hate on Brantley, he did just like Jason did before him, don't hate on Jason, he cut a good song and made Brantley a lot of money. This Jason stole shit, or Jason sucks and can't write is stupid and you folks don't have a clue what goes on really, almost every song you hear on the radio from an artist was written by someone else, hell George Straight doesn't write at all and i'll be damned if you say he sucks. They do it the same way in Austin, get over it and enjoy the music. With that being said, as of right now the only big name that writes all his own songs would be Eric Church.
