Crystals will stay for PVE. For pvp, those "perks" are unnecessary. They make certain classes OP and fights incredibly unfun.

There should be a special dragon mount unlocked for reaching lvl 65, and for reaching guru 50 in a life skill. Maybe a different color to represent each life skill and for reaching lvl 65/70. Also having a huge dragon statue to put in your manor courtyard for unlocking one of the dragons would be cool. It would give a reason to lvl past 62 and strive for higher guru lvls. Since right now theres not much point lvling your character past 62 for 99% of the player base.

The cc changes… I don’t know how to feel about. On one hand I never really notice not getting cc’d anyway. On the other hand I notice failing getting cc’s constantly on enemies that don’t seem to be SA or FG. It could work wonders for the more linear long range classes that are slow. But it could also be disastrous and make long range classes more powerful than ever. But at the same time. The only ppl I see consistently PVP are the big guilds who are already nigh unstoppable so maybe I shouldn’t even care.

This will actually lead to other problems. Now there is a certain meta for pvp classes. But if a person has been playing for a long time and is very experienced, he can use a non-meta class in pvp. Once the resistances are removed, the meta classes will be classes with infinite circular rotation of super armor and the ability to grab. The problem is that classes without grab will not be able, in principle, to carry out control over classes with circular rotation of super armor. You can always throw a skill behind the front guard and use control on player with frontal guard. This will lead to the fact that in BDO, just like for example in TL, pvp guilds simply will not take characters who play non-meta classes. And the number of pvp classes will be limited to 6-8 classes, such as a zerker or a striker. Previously, it was impossible for all classes to have infinite use of super armor. There have been characters with this kind of rotation for more than 4 years now, and the developers are not going to fix them. Moreover, these same classes have grab, which classes without such rotation do not have. And so that classes do not fall under control when they use skills without super armor and resistances are made. People who play unbalanced classes do not understand that after removing resistances, for proper balance developers must either have to give all classes grab and circular rotation of super armor.

What's the point to make damage differences between different type of classes I wonder. Would be better to remove such hidden ratios completely. Also if they do plan to implement it, I hope it doesn't mean, that for example ranged classes do less damage to melee classes. For example succ ranger is a ranged class, but so many melee classes who have a dash and a grab can easily defeat her.

Probably not, there's gotta be some engine limitation and zone limits. Kinda like in WoW, flying mounts aren't a thing in certain zones. They don't want or need ppl noclipping through the map or something like that with it.

I think getting rid of cc resists is a good thing (if they also balance amount of cc every class has). Bdo pvp combat is extremely bland due to million dashes, constant potion healing, SA, s etc. Pvp combat should be about chain cc’s instead of having enough stats to outdps someones healing.

I'm assuming that that weel will be like elements in Pokemon eg. In this case, melee will do more damage to magic, magic will be stronger against ranged, ranged against tanks and tanks against melee. I hope not tbh just a huntch

so far any defensive stat still there and work as normal, this resist only remove chance to successfully landing the CC to target, but if target actively use Super Armor/ Invisibility / Forward guard, those attack will be hold/blocked as intended

@cypher10 the original idea present to players when this game released was that it would be a real open world pvp game. Turning pvp off entirely does kill the spirt even if it's only on a few servers. I'd rather it be the opposite where there's a few safe servers and you venture out to pvp. Fighting other players should be encouraged not everywhere all the time but the game should be pushing you there because fighting mindless mobs is just that what's the point of all the cool shit when you have nothing to use it on

I agree, pvp players keep complaining that "pvp is dead" yet they have Arsha server which is a dead server, they have node wars, they have conquest, they have arena, and they barely interact with any of it. When pvp players complain that pvp is dead, what they are really saying is that they are mad that they can't randomly kill pve/lifeskill players without penalty anymore. BDO is a pve game that allows for pvp. That's why all progression revolves around pve content. You don't get gear, silver, levels, or skill points by killing other players. Not only that, but the majority of BDO players now are pve players. If PA caters heavily to the 10% of pvp players then they will lose the other 90% of the player base. They should just separate the servers already. Have PVP servers and PVE servers. Simple as that, problem solved. Theres no logical argument a pvp player can make to want to fight pve/lifeskill players and claim it's for "pvp". They want to bully non pvp players, and that will be the death of the game which is what was happening already. That's why things are the way they are now already.

I just knew this dogcrap game would be ruined after the release of Deadeye, I just didn't realise it'd happen so quickly. Yet another way to shit all over the players efforts like how the infinite potion got pitied then could be brought. Now we have a flying mount which I knew would come, legit only a matter of time because BDO has been falling into the trope of every damn MMO the last 10 years. There is nothing innovative of GIVING a player everything only for the game to be strictly and I mean STRICTLY pity enhancing. Then break immersion even more by introducing LoML making it anything but a European inspired fantasy game. Then they bring out Deadeye which they could of easily kept in as a cohesive element but decided to make it some god awful looking bland ass whore. And now that everything else is failing and they bring someone to man the helm over that director I don't even know his name, they decide the next best innovative thing is to ruin the game even more by ensuring all of your struggles, your efforts, your jubilation and satisfaction of mount training is down the drain. Because every damn mount is going to be irrelevant. Bring back classic BDO, this is too far. GG''s to all who enjoy this, it's bland as shit for me and I'm tired of every god damn game turning out to be a carbon copy of all the others in terms of "innovation".
