That's amazing. I enjoyed looking up through the trees. I'm always looking down while on the trail.

Thanks so much Ken! I've actually started working on the Xmas video - big plans this year, though it's top secret until I figure out all the details :)

Very nice video, it was great. Can you do a technical video explaining the system used, discussing the issues you have encountered using it or data storage etc.. Cheers

Don’t understand this video...Can’t make out what’s going on....I no it’s 360...But still don’t get it ?
@ChrisProuse6 жыл бұрын
Hey Tommy! Depending on what device you're viewing it on, you may have to rotate your phone in 3D space (or drag your finger across the screen) in the KZbin mobile app. If you're viewing it on a computer in a browser like Chrome for example, you can click and drag the video around to see in all directions. Hope this helps! :)

I gave this video a thumbs up. Like I do on most of your videos. But....I dislike 360 . I would sooner see what you are seeing as you film it. Not a camera planted onto a object where I have to scroll around looking. I want to see what YOU want me to see at that very moment. Share. You are the artiste. Point your camera and share your immediate thoughts sights and sounds. 360 is cold boring and frankly. Lazy. Lol! S'excuser. Keep up the excellent Vlogs. Very much enjoyed and appreciated!

Thank you - I appreciate your feedback, and totally understand what you mean. When I bought the camera, the intent behind it was to share a little more of the experience with people who are differently abled, or can no longer go out there. It was only ever meant to be supplementary bonus content, in addition to the vlogs. I'd say the best way to experience them is through Google's VR Cardboard app (in a stereoscopic head-mounted viewer), with headphones on. Some of the 360 videos aren't very entertaining, though it's always important to experiment with new ideas, and understand that it's more of an experiential medium than an entertainment one. The 360 sunset video that we filmed during the previous series at the top of the lookout on Big Crow Lake is probably my favourite... it was the most beautiful sunset I'd ever seen in my entire life, so I really cherish that one, and enjoy getting to relive a little bit of it when I can't be out there. Cheers :)

Yes. I understand better now. When I am in the wrong I will admit it. I apologize. It never occured to me the why of what you were trying to share via a 360 camera. Plus I actually called Chris Prouse lazy Ha! No way! I'll have to check out your sunset video. Subscribed now.
