The NEW Ekster Cardholder Pro | They FINALLY Upgraded This Feature!

Thanks for the review of the Ekster Pro. I looked all over their website to see if they had a show and tell of the new enhancements. For some reason they don’t have anything on the topic. If I had a wish it would be to have a back-to-back card holder operating the same as the main card fan. There would only be a need for one separator plate with a basic dark finish. Both sides can operate independently so each side would fan with its own button. You could even set it up so the cards face the same direction. They could set it up so you could buy the add on card module later have the holes pre-drilled and ship the extended screws so the end user can DIY it. Then you could sell a factory installation having the owner send the old wallet to have the upgrade module put on plus an inspection, cleaning and refurbishing the older first module. I’d buy that upgrade path for the peace of mind that if I can’t live with 7 to 10 cards I can get the full expansion modular. A new travel and it takes a lot of cards for a road warrior. You have your own everyday stuff but you might have s company card or prepaid parking but you have to check in with their private card. On the road you need to have backup hard cards just in case the digital world can’t read you phone based cards because the reader isn’t working because a customer spilled a blue Slurpee on it and the IT Help Desk person is in Fuji and the service tech hasn’t shipped out the replacement reader. That will happen or some other issue will come and bit you someday so you need to be prepared. If you know of a real solution to a need for a simple yet elegant organized solution for 10 to 14 total cards, I’d buy it right now if I don’t need to mortgage my home to buy one.

This is good timing. I recently dropped my Ekster and broke the mechanism. Might be time for an upgrade, Hopefully the aluminum internals makes it more durable

The carbon fiber one I just ordered throws out both of my metal cards if I shake the wallet, thinking about returning it and trying the double oak for the locking feature!

I used ekster many times….I don’t like how it scratches and damages my cards,Especially all over the sides….I guess it’s the friction of the cards popping in and out.
