STEAMPUNK Escape Simulator!

I really like how you play this just like most people use a real escape room - smash as many of the props as possible. It's why I gave up my job as a prop-maker for an escape room company.

Watching after having played this myself. It's interesting to see how our brains work differently or the same at puzzle solving. I also got stuck wondering what to do with the clock upstairs and trying to find the tape for the light box. Downstairs I understood the star/fire/flower puzzle, but got stuck understanding how the circles on the door correlated to the buttons on the chest.

Your original Escape Simulator vids made me actually download and play a game for the first time and I love it!! Had to use a clue for the clock, didn’t notice the hands on the gears. I’m much slower and more methodical and I carefully look at everything, which I’m sure would drive you crazy lol

Sometimes while watching these videos I am like, man I wish I would've caught the live to help with some stuff. lol The codes on the boxes were just a hint of how the columns and rows were lettered and numbered. So the Columns starting from the left and going right were A, B, C, etc. And the rows starting at the bottom and moving up were 1, 2, 3, etc. So the D1 was the first row on the bottom, fourth column from the left. Then when you looked at the tag on the lock you had to find the boxes grouped in that cluster and get the coordinates to those boxes using the letter and number of the columns and rows. (I don't know if that makes sense, but it does in my head. lol )

I think the labeled boxes actually threw me off more than helped me out. I think I actually figured it out about the same time Chris did.

Nice Job Chris! I have to start catching your live streams. I love hearing chat jump in and help out. I had absolutely no clue what was going on with the last lock and the symbols, but chat hopped right in. Love the content man. Using the 2 marked boxes you can determine that the cargo was in a grid with the columns marked with the letters abcde left to right and the rows were marked 1-5 bottom to top using this grid take the pattern that matched the tag and you get d3 d2 e2
