Excellent! I love my Ranga's ... all eight of them!

Rangas are made in my neighboring state here in India.. Honestly, too many models and too many purchase options have made me so indecisive that I haven’t bought even a single Ranga yet ! I have read similar feedback (complaints ?) in other forums as well !

For me not a complaint. Find one you love & order it. Better to have too many than too few options.

I love the form factor most of all for these pens, though the acrylic looks great! Thanks, Chris.

Woohoo! I'm so glad you're enjoying it. I had a hard time choosing which to send you. I just knew I wanted it to be one from what i called " my magnificent seven" collection. Peyton Street Pens recently added another pen offered in this resin, it has an aged rose colored brass accents. I may have to bite! Ink mixing is a new passion. And it's contagious! haha P.S. our Ranga Splendours are arriving this week!! Awesome video, Captain!!

I love my 2 Ranga pens, I had a slight issue with the first one I bought but the Ranga after sales support was excellent and as such i had no hesitation buying the second one and even eyeing up a third! I do like having a quick writing preview at the start as after all that's what is all about at the end of the day.

Good to hear

I like the writing preview. While the overall review of the pen is worth the detailed description, it really is about the nib. I like the brief view at the beginning.

I like the new format, Chris and what a lovely color of ink. Is that the same color with two different nibs? Thank you!
@chrisrap522 жыл бұрын
No different inks. Both have some green.

Thanks for the links Chris - placed an order from Peyton for the Mocha version. Seems fitting since that is what I am drinking right now :D. Can wait to get it and have it reviewed as well :).

Hi Chris, I plan to buy a Ranga pen soon, but do not know what nib. What do you suggest? They seem to have Bock, Schmidt, and Jowo steel nibs. They also have an India produced nib.
@chrisrap522 жыл бұрын
Depends on your requirements. From my experience Bock has been good. Jowo second, Schmidt third. Indian nibs are less cost and are OK, especially in the larger nibs, medium & up. In smaller sizes may need some tuning/smoothing. Watch my Vazir videos to see Indian nibs in action.

@@chrisrap52 i will watch the videos. Thank you. As far as what i like... i suppose my preferred nibs are pilot nibs to this point.

Odd, I went to range website and there is no mocha colored pen for sale. All the 8b look way different.
@eugenborcan2 жыл бұрын
They have them on Peyton website - just placed an order for it - look at the Description of the video.

Colors change regularly. Need to look at all places that sell Ranga.

@@eugenborcan I don’t want to pay over 100$ buy buying it from someone making a mark up. That also means that this pen is old stock if the companies website doesn’t sell it.
@anthonyl28232 жыл бұрын
@@chrisrap52 no thank you, I won’t pay mark up from a reseller. If the main site does not sell them, then it’s old stock now. I’ll wait to see if the remake it.
@chrisrap522 жыл бұрын
That is your choice. Old stock is as good as new stock. I buy vintage. Pens don't have an expiration date. Resellers are part of the distribution system most manufacturers use. For me, I don't limit where I buy pens. It's all about the pen, not the buying.

Fuliwen and Kaigelu pen prices goes up 10-15$ on one night 🤷😬
