Nice info, thanks! Only miss the Lava 450 in this series. Any news/experience with that battery?

Great testing. I would LOVE to see the tattu 300mah with the bt2.0 connector added to the comparison. Thank you!

They are great in performance, but they degrade fast in my opinion. I only have two left of a five pack after 2 months of correct usage.

Thanks for your hard work! I have some Lava 260mah batteries on order. Was waiting for TW 270mah to come back into stock but like everything else on their website they seem to be out of stock indefinitely.

These lava packs are great, I’ve done dozens of flights and the performance is so solid

When do you land? Do you charge to 4.2V? I can't even fly 1min and a pack is down to 3.6V
@TheLastTater16 күн бұрын
@ you might have harmed your packs, or you have a bad motor prop combo or your quad is too high. I charge to 4.35v and land at 3.3v. After disarm, voltage should return to 3.5v

very interesting video, very informative. As always, you were not disappointed - great work! I know these tests take time and work but would it be possible to test the 1S batteries (450mAh "80C/160C" & 500mAh "90C/180C") from Bonka in the same way. You have already made a video about the Bonka U2 series before 3 Month, maybe it is a nice idea to expose the small 1S batteries now :) I would be very happy about this Test compare to the Lava Series. Thanks a lot for your content!

GNB have (apparantly) indicated that they do not intend to make "folded" 1S cells as this would mean a different production line and process they do not wish to add the complexity of. I'm running DogCom foldeds in the shape of these test cells for my 65's and GNB 530 and 660 for my 75's. BT2 for the DogComs and A30 for the GNB. Def "sold" on the folded cell technology. Having been bitten badly (and not supported) by BetaFPV on hardware twice I'm extremely reluctant to push any more money their way, but never say never. Stock held UK supply is not easy.

Can you compare to tattu 450mha 95c?

what determines a batterie's longevity? I've had betafpv packs in the past and they fly fine for about the first 10 cycles, then they just sag like crazy. Is there a way to compare these packs after discharging them a dozen times to see if they maintain the same punchyness as the tattu packs?
@ChrisRosser4 ай бұрын
2 things that can affect battery sag. Connector - PH2.0 connectors don't last as long as a BT2.0 (especially on the battery). Discharging packs below 3.3V can affect their lifespan.

I soon messed up my gnb 550mAh,used them in my flywoo firefly fr16 without setting the correct battery warning levels,took them too low now they are shite

Thanks for a great video. I’ve been running BNG and beta FPV packs I like the BNG‘s a little better. Does anyone know a good supplier for this type of battery? I am closing my Amazon account. Been reviewing on my other channel, Kriss fly since 2005. But they ripped me off for the last time on two DJI batteries. I usually buy directly from suppliers and have the best results that way. Amazon just keeps reselling damaged batteries. Damaged batteries that are illegal to return. It even says it in their shipping instructions. There comment was we’ll make a note in your account that you’re not responsible for anything that happens. When you’re in a another country talking on the phone that’s pretty easy to say. Goodbye Amazon.

Been using the various LAVA batteries and i'm finding that the 2S 550 variant has a high failure rate. (I have 1s 300, 1s 450, 1s 550 also) I've purchased about 10 of them 3 months ago, and 4 are now not working right. 2 have just died to 0. and another 2 have cells that start to unbalance very quickly, after 2 days the cells are down to 4.11/4.19 (LiHV) ... and the cells are consistently unbalanced I also picked up 10 GAOENG batteries at the same time (2s 550) and ALL of them are fine and working great. The LAVA do have more juice and more power, but the fact that they are dying much quicker is not good. the LAVA 1s 550 have also had a few failures-- so maybe there was a problem with the 550 batches that were produced?

They work fine until they die like after 15 cycles :(

I've got 20+ on mine and they're still going strong as hell, I don't over discharge them though which makes a HUGE difference with these little batteries

i wonder how the 450s perform. hopefully similar, i just hope they are durable too
@jamesmichaelcabrera961321 күн бұрын
I only bought four of them and I have done many flights and crashed the batteries. I have at least 25 flights on each battery. They're very good. I don't have a lot of sag from them
