Huh. Didn't expect the show to go for an non-animated, frame-by-frame style. I like it. I'm a little _iffy_ on the mouths being motionless thought, but the rest of the style is fantastic! Very different from how other object shows are animated. Keep up the good work!

Alright! So here's my own personal review of the show. For starters, the dialogue is pretty great when compared to other object shows. All the characters' lines are pretty natural and successful in what they're trying to portray. Also, I praise you for not having many awkward pauses. A real problem/trend I've started to notice with upcoming object shows is having a plethora of instances of silence. Next, I'll review the plot surrounding it. It's very simple... maybe a bit *too* simple. Well, no, let me rephrase that. I think you can have this simple of a plot, but when it's really given no context beforehand, it seems a bit too out of the ordinary to me. This isn't *that* big of an issue seeing as the positives outweigh the negatives. Speaking of the positives, I love the confessionals. Not enough people use these and I'm very glad you capitalized on such a prime opportunity. The challenge was solid as well, nothing spectacular. For voice acting, I honestly believe you don't have the best cast. At times, it's harder to differentiate certain voices from one another. The voices for characters like Paper roll, Checkerboard, Pop filter, etc. need a bit of working trying to make their voice feel a bit.. "individualized". However, I do wanna give out compliments to Jam, Zipper, and Yoga Ball. They have clear voice types. The delivery isn't too bad. No one was really an outlier in terms of quality. The animation is solid. I'm not turned off by the non-lipsync style by any means. So not a bad start! It still beats out the majority of shows at this point (Even though that's barely considered a compliment). Writing: 7.5/10 Plot: 7/10 Voice Acting: 6.5/10 Animation: 8/10 Score: 7.25 I still think this show needs a unique feature. Hopefully there is some riveting, believable drama within the next couple of episodes! Thanks for reading ~ Dizzy

[DISCLAIMER: This review is probably gonna sound really mean and rude, but all I'm doing is trying to be perfectly blunt. Nothing against you Chris, you're awesome, but sometimes I can get really mean in my reviews, and I'm extremely sorry. All I want is for you to master your craft.] I'm gonna be completely honest. I didn't really like this. It wasn't the worst thing ever, and I seriously wanted to like this, but I can't get myself to. The dialogue between individual characters and some of the animation are probably the best things about it, and that's not an extremely big deal and doesn't really save this show. The writing, the bare story and most of the animation style are basically fine, but that's about all for the positives. I think this show's biggest problem is its pacing. The pacing throughout the entire episode is fast to the point where it's annoying and I don't have a single second to breathe. It really just throws so many different characters and plot points at me that I'm supposed to remember happened over and over again at a mile a minute. It feels exactly like I'm watching one of those meme videos where it's a certain video but it doesn't have pauses. It may just be a problem with the sound design, though, I'm not sure. Another big problem with the show is that it's basically almost the exact same thing as Total Drama: World Tour, and many other object shows. The introduction is just about the same, the prize is the same [as well as cliche in general] and that just makes it a little harder for me to suspend my disbelief. I'm all for object shows being similar to their source material, but I feel like this is just all the same stuff we've already seen from other object shows, and I don't really feel like there's a reason for that to exist if you're not even gonna try to actually create something new. The graphics also bother me very much. A lot of the colors are very off and the way some of the objects are shaded and highlighted makes them look misshapen and weird [Egg Timer]. The awkward way the eyes and bodies move around by skewing at times also kind of detracts from the graphics. On another note, a lot of the voice acting is also very weird sounding, hard to understand and unappealing in my opinion. All of this just makes the show very messy and harder to watch for me. I know it's all mostly superficial and it shouldn't really matter, but for something to have me suspend my disbelief, it has to look nice and not be boring. However, this show unfortunately did not suspend my disbelief. All I could really do was sit through it, confused and bored, and come out of it 7 minutes later not remembering anything that happened because you just threw a bunch of things I've already seen at my face at a million miles an hour the entire time, with kind of stilted visuals to boot. TL;DR: Slow things down a little bit and learn a little more about how to create nice, neat bodies. Maybe try to practice your staging. This all just felt really messy, 4.5/10.
