Chrissie Heughan - Member Video Profile

ESW Member Chrissie Heughan speaks about two bird motif paper hangings which she has made for exhibition in Tokyo, a negative and positive dance of shape and form. She describes an experimental process she used to distribute colour onto the specialist Japanese papers by using ink within snowballs.

Member Profile Videos is a project initiated by ESW in 2021 as a way to share our Members' practices while the pandemic had limited the sharing of work and chances to make new connections. We received support from Creative Scotland for the artist development work we put in place during this period.
