This is why I can't play on Hall of Fame mode. It's not realistic whatsoever. No way his teammates, especially Melo, would miss open 3's like that. I play on superstar. A bit lower difficulty but more realistic and you still get a difficulty boost on VC. They need to fix the "cheat" difficulty that they call Hall of Fame.

Agreed. I still find it difficult, but at least it's fairer in Human/CPU matchups. You can blow out the opposition by 30 or 40, but also play really close games. Far more balanced.

Gonna give the superstar difficulty a go.... Hall of Fame is just way too much cheese.... You need to have perfect defense every stop and even if you do the A.I. still has a good chance to get 2 points, or a teammate AI will just let someone wide open.... If you let someone open for 3 they will make it splash 95% of the time, but if your team's best shooter is open for 3? Oh no, he suddently gets "shooting fatigue" or whatever excuse 2K calls it (wich doesn't even exist irl, and doesn't even affect the A.I. when they shoot too much). I mean, I was against the Clippers and Blake Griffin only missed like 2 or 3 shoots.... He was doing fadeaways and all sorts of cheese like if he was prime kobe bryant or something... Heck even prime kobe bryant coulnd't do what griffin did. Also for some reason when you're on defense your teammates don't even try to hustle for a rebound.... they just let the opposing team get the rebound and then try to defend it or take a charge or some shit. In a nutshell: Its not fun at all.

If your team chem gets up at a high level your teammates change. They actually start to make the 3's and play better. I play on HoF and we have record of 23-5 so far in the 3rd season. Play as a PG for the Rockets.

I'm a 6'8 SF on the Raptors, and I was playing the Blazers. We were up by 5 points around 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Blazers had possession and D. Lillard had the ball. Lowry was playing some good defense and forced Lillard out to the mid-court line. Shot clock was winding down, and Lillard had no choice but to shoot it from mid-court. This is when that "2K cheat switch" got flipped on. Lillard drains the shot from mid-court. I'm not too worried though, as we're still up by 2, the ball is in our possession, and there's 1:40 left in the game. Lowry is bringing the ball up court, and then he passes to me. As I was still "hot" (red rings), Lillard and Batum came to double team me, leaving Lowry wide open for 3. I passed it back to Lowry, fully expecting him to take the 3. Nope, he decided to lob the ball to DeRozan, who seemed to be cutting but just randomly stopped and did not attempt to jump for the lob, which resulted in a lousy turnover. Blazers were then running the fastbreak, but DeRozan and I managed to stop it. Lillard now has the ball, and he attempts to pass it to Aldridge. I manage to deflect the pass and the ball rolls past mid-court. Lillard chases after the ball and manages to get it, but shot clock was winding down again; again, Lillard had no choice but to shoot from mid-court. He drains the mid-court shot. Again. I am a bit pissed off at this moment, since it is near damn impossible to drain 2 mid-court shots on two straight possessions by the same guy. This time, I'm bringing the ball upcourt, and again, Lillard and Batum double team me. I pass it to Lowry again, thinking, "Surely he'll take the 3 now!" NOPE. He passes to J. Valanciunas in the post, who gets fouled on a layup attempt. He then proceeds to MISS BOTH FREE THROWS. Blazers possession, and Lillard has the ball, and I decide switch onto him, hoping to defend him better than Lowry. He passes it to L. Aldridge, who does a few post moves, and passes it Batum, who passes it to Lillard. Again, the shot clock is winding down. This time, I make sure that he doesn't have a clean look at the basket and play some pretty good on-ball defense. Lillard then does a post fadeaway from behind the 3 point line and I make sure to contest it. NO USE AT ALL, HE DRAINS THE SHOT. Now, I know that Lillard is a beast at shooting 3's, but this...
