I was guarding a 5’9 guard last night and I consistently shaded whichever direction he went in. I don’t even reach for the ball because ideally he should have been picking up the ball every time. I have a 6’4 230 lbs 85 strength guard with 87 agility. He was forcing the dribble and I couldn’t strip it. There was. There was nothing I could do about. So I just played through it and got the win

NBA 2K17 punished bad dribble with bump steals and you could get steals against post scorers with help defense. But people complained how they commit turnovers with 99 ball control rating and 2k removed the logic. 2K16 was the only nba 2k game with balanced screens since the "mycareer" multiplayer modes, with proper illegal screen calls and no crazy screen suction. But since 2k introduced HOF level badges , takeovers etc its always been broken and never fixed.

Can we talk about how 2k purposely gave huge advantages to shorter builds this year? Who in that room decided that a 5’9 build should have the most attributes in the game?? Clear bad business decision. Also why players grinding to Starter 4 just to find out most of the get it done I’m on animations is suited for smaller guard builds. What advantages is wings & bigs gettin in this game?
