I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us and I really enjoy your videos. I have a question about how you tie on or more specific the knot that you use to tie the hooks onto the Kentucky rig. I would really like to use it but I’m afraid that my knot is insufficient to keep from breaking the line. Thank you in advance for this advice.

Hey Chris is there any way you can make a video showing how the demon dragon works with bait attached...it just seems to small to hold the size of baits you use off the bottom. thank ya

Does the Kentucky rig not get tangled? Needs current? ( Bank fishing )
@slungercatoutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Hey Matt you don’t need current and most generally it doesn’t get tangled. Thanks for watching

Hey Chris always love watching your videos they’re really educational!! Quick question why do you use a heavier pound test leader line and not the same as the main line?!?
@slungercatoutdoors4 жыл бұрын
That’s a good question and one I think I’ll use on a Tackle Talk Tuesday show. But mainly because that section of line takes so much abuse it’s subject to break much easier.
@davidwilkinson14784 жыл бұрын
Chris Souders thanks for the response I’ll keep that in mind when I’m rigging from now on. What are some tips for catching a lot of fish when you have to somewhat fish blind my boat isn’t setup with all the electronics like yours?!?
@slungercatoutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Definitely learn to drag and drift baits. That’s a great way to find more fish.
@davidwilkinson14784 жыл бұрын
Chris Souders I’ll definitely do that thanks again for your responses I really appreciate them and look forward to seeing more amazing videos!!!!!👍

Number 1 is also how we fish for Wels catfish in Europe, with an underwater float.
@1337voltronBOT3 жыл бұрын
I have caught so many catfish on hard body lures that i would be worried i wouldnt know if the fish is pulling on my bait or that rattling float.

Slime line stretches to much
@eduffy4937 Жыл бұрын
Stretch is good when it's heavy fish. Braid has zero shock absorption. When boatside I've lost more flathead from a stiff rod and braid than I could handle. Switched back to 50lb mono and a 12/0 hook. No problems hardly ever.
