I think they are the most versatile group I’ve ever seen. It’s one thing to do these choreos, but the movement, shifting and angles are crazy. You can just watch one member and see intricate details. No one is just standing around. Amazing

It must be such a fun and honorable job to be these girls' choreographer because you know they will execute your creative vision flawlessly. You don't have to tone down anything in fear of moves being too difficult, too messy, etc. Just pure talent.

That's exactly the thing, you said it. There are 0 weak links in this group, even if u try looking for one. Every single girl works their choreo as if they're the only one in the room, no back row slacking in the least. I love how u can watch a routine 7 times, focus on each member, and get 7 star performances 🌠

I'm still amazed at how good this group is at dancing from top to bottom. You could show somebody one of their dance performances and they would legit think XG is a dance crew, not an idol group.

They’re hard work and dedication and their passion to entertain and showcase their talent is out of this world. It’s one thing when you have a pretty face and talent, but the charisma and the positive energy to affect a persons emotion is magic. XG is pure magic. Thanks for sharing your reaction.

I totally agreed! I'm a newbeee as a XG fan, just been exposed to them a month ago. So I've been studying abt them from other fans, and what surprised me the most is that some of the members gave up their previous professional(modeling, idol, pro athlete, etc) to undergo trainees for 5 yrs for this group at their young age. I'll be their royal fan from now on!!!

Their choreographers e.g. renan/sienna lalau had a lot of praise for how hard the girls work on the choreo, and that hard work really shines through in their performances!!!

one of the programs they went to actually released a tower cam version where the camera angle is from above so you can see all the formations from high up! it's a really interesting watch! also fyi, there are 3 different choreo for each chorus of the song. sienna lalau, renan, and kiel tutin really had fun with this choreo, im thankful to them 😭❤

Hi this is not directly relevant with your reaction per se, but I’m curious to know what the general consensus on braided hair done by non-black races is because apparently there are people bashing XG for Cocona’s braids

Very interesting question. Imo it's blown out of proportion as style , fashion and some culture is bound to influence people. Also as a 32 year old who grew up watching David Beckham with braids... You kinda realize people will have their fashion choices.( Not great choices but their choice regardless) I think it's ok to have an opinion but people don't keep the same energy. I mean kpop Fashion gets crazy Seventeen Cheers, most Jay Park hip-hop songs, Ateez fashion. As a fellow Creative ( artist, dancer , content creator) I have always been an advocate of do what you want cos someone will always have an opinion. I'm more bothered by Ariana Grande / Iggy Azalea somehow being 20 shades darker from their make up than a hair style. See how messy the whole conversation can be 😅 The real question is what is influence vs what is appropriation? I understand why people may feel a type of way about it but... There are bigger issues at stake 😂 Sorry for the long message 😂

Plus, those girls clearly likely have respect for Black music so it is not as though they are mocking or dissing the culture either…I guess. It’s not for me to judge, but what are they trying to protect?
