If Christ did not rise from the dead, our faith would be worthless, but hallelujah he did

I agree, this hymn is absolutely the best at Easter. I imagine satan when Christ was crucified rejoicing then UP FROM THE GRAVE HE AROSE... satan must have thought "oh no! Not Him again!" Yes Him! Jesus Christ. No grave could hold Him. He is the Son of God!!! Thankd Natalie.

Excellent selection for the Resurrection, great having the lyrics too. If in this life only we have hope in Christ we are of all men most miserable. BUT now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. ICor15.19-20 Thank you.

Natalie & Josh, there are many of your videos which I have played more than once. But this is one of my favorites, and I return to it every spring as we near Resurrection Day. The music is beautifully arranged & well performed; the videography is excellent & captivating; and together they emphasize the message of the song, which is the most powerful of all. It invites us, during the solemn stanza, to imagine the grief that the disciples felt as the One they called Lord & Master apparently succumbed to bitter death... and then during the chorus, their intense joy as they beheld & believed on the resurrected Christ. One by one, they came to realize that it was their sins - and ours - for which Jesus died; and that, when He arose, He conquered death for us. Unlike the disciples, we cannot yet see the Risen Savior, but we can rejoice in His Words, "Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." It's so wonderful to know that, through simple faith in Christ alone, we can be forgiven today - and have the surety of a future resurrection & eternity with Him. Thank you for sharing God's truth in music!

This is one of the hymns we sang last night. It was the first time I'd ever heard or sung it. But now I've heard you play it beautifully today as well. When God wants to get our attention he repeats himself. Thank you Father for giving people the gift of playing music that glorifies you and edifies your Church. Thank you, sister Natalie, for blessing us with the gift your Father has given you.

Hi to everyone listening It bugs me that so many sincere Christians believe that Resurrection Day is the same thing as Easter, a pagan holiday celebrating the fertility goddess hundreds of years before the birth of our Savior. Christ died historically on a specific date and for accommodation we celebrate Resurrection Day on Sunday as we do Thanksgiving on Thursday. Christ died, according to the Bible, on the second Sunday of April not in March or any of the first 3 weeks of April. The shifting schedule of Easter has to do with the spring solstice. Don’t take my word for it. Be as the Bereans in Acts and check it out for yourself. Come out from among them and be separate. Have NO fellowship with the hidden works of darkness. Don’t confuse your children with eggs and bunnies as many Christians also do with Santa Claus at Christmas, another pagan celebration of the winter solstice. The gospel tells us of John the Baptist ministering in the course of Avis and the OT tells us when that was so we know when Elisabeth got pregnant, and 6 months later, her cousin Mary. In a normal 9 month pregnancy Jesus Christ was born late September when shepherds would have been watching their flocks by night and a reasonable time for Caesar to order a census, not in the winter time. For those who already know, PTL! For those who know and choose to mix our celebrations with pagan celebrations, shame on you. For those unaware, I trust you will search the scriptures and make God’s Word your final authority. Love to all you called to be saints.
